Who’s TTC a Christmas Baby. March 2018

Not that I specifically want a Christmas baby. But my LMP was the 20th March so that means, going by a 28 day cycle, if I fell pregnant this month, Baby’s ‘estimated’ due date would be Christmas Day!!!!!!!!

It’s the first month that I’ve felt ready to start trying again after a miscarriage and my cycles haven’t been completely regular.
Ranging from 27 - 30 days. So I’m using OPK’s and Temping to try and pinpoint ovulation.

Should be ovulating within the next 4 days.

Anyone else actively trying this week?

Well AF is due tomorrow but I’ll test Saturday if she doesn’t appear. Woke up today feeling a bit bleugh and currently feeling a bit sick :(

Hopefully can post these today! My cbfm has finally caught up with the news and has given me my bfp!! No mistaking that.

I've got bloods being done today and a 6week scan at Epu in two weeks! 🤞🏻this is a sticky one.

@Nillynally I really hope AF stayed away!!! Have you tested again?

My BBT chart is all over the place. I’m really confused with what’s going on. It’s not looking hopeful though. I’ll post a pic.
Could someone explain it to me?

How hard is it not to test 😩

I’ve had constant pains since ovulation and a real fullness down there and today a pressure down there when I wee.
Don’t want to do the whole symptom spotting thing but when I fell pregnant before my mc I had exactly the same feeling except this time my boobs aren’t hurting at all.
I don’t want to blame it on the progesterone though because last month after ovulation I had none of these feelings.
It’s driving me crazy!!

@MagicalCreatures I'm somewhere around there too I think?! Gave up on OPKs-only flashy faces, think I missed a couple of days too so hoping I just missed the surge fx.
I'm so impatient, but kinda like this hopeful stage before reality crashes in!!

Hopeful, yes!!! But then it can be sooo disappointing. ☹️
Have you had any symptoms at all?
I just wanna wake up in the morning with the sudden pain in my boobs like I had last time and test and it be positive.

@MagicalCreatures I'm 7DPO today and also finding it really hard not to test and symptom spot but I seem to be distracted by it even more than normal this month! When do you plan to POAS?

I'm 9 dpo today...pre my DS my LP was only 10/11 days so if it's the same AF is due over the weekend. I've been having backache for the past 3 days so assuming AF is on her way but Can't decide whether to get a FRER and test tomorrow or just wait for AF to arrive....also we only managed to DTD twice during FW so not feeling that hopeful! What do you think...POAS or wait?!

I don't think I have any symptoms atm! But then I don't think I had any with DS either
I tell myself not to think about it, but it's so difficult! The men have it so easy don't they!!!

I really don’t want to see a negative line.
If I suddenly get really sore boobs and nauseous like last time then I will but if I carry on with no symptoms like this then I won’t bother. Just wait for AF.
I don’t think my BBT chart is very promising either.

It’s totally up to you. If you’ve not got any symptoms at all then try and wait for AF but saying that some people don’t get any symptoms. Do what’s right for you and how you cope with it x x

My BBT chart doesn't look promising either...but that could be due to the act that I started on what Glow reckons was ov day and I've missed some! oh I'm useless at tracking properly!!
Fx no symptoms is a good thing for us!

I'm 4dpo now. Such a long time to be waiting for everything arrgh. I gave up on my BBT as my temp was all over due to bad sleeping patterns! Just ordered a new thermometer though that should be better (I hope!)

That’s what I’m finding my bbt is like. I’ve had the usual pattern of it going higher after ovulation but then it spikes up and then down again.
I have a terrible sleeping pattern too. I have a bladder condition so I wake up quite abit in the night. Do you think that’s got something to do with it?

@MagicalCreatures I'm normally a total POAS addict so probably won't be able to wait but just don't think we're in with much of a chance given we didn't dtd v much which is what is making me think about it, I've been feeling queezy & lightheaded today but that could all be in my mind...will see how I'm feeling tomorrow I think but I probably won't be able to resist the temptation!

@magicalcreatures yes definitely. You need to be asleep (I think) for at least three hours before taking it. I have a habit of getting up an hour before wake up for a wee or my youngest son shouts me and I sleep in his room.

I'm only confident that I o'd this month because of the blaring positive opk and what looked like a corpus luteum on my scan.

It's just all of the unknown and the inability to control it!!!

9 days until AF due. Counting down slowly....

@MagicalCreatures I was the same with BBT. Just bought myself an Ava bracelet so that I can get more accurate readings. Will report back!

@Cakelaur 😂 I weed in my pot and realised that the spare test I had wasn't where I thought it was (in the garage of all places!) so I've saved my morning wee for when I can get to The shop! I honestly just think I've been mistaken in thinking my cycle is 26 days long and it's actually 28 though! I'll let you know!
