Forgot to add that my boss managed to "guess" that I was ttcing today it felt really odd them knowing and I don't know what to do because I've been trying that long that to me I don't care but they reacted pretty oddly and I feel like I've been pigeonholed into a ttc woman category Confused

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yeah ttc is really frustrating. I’m worried about booking a summer holiday ‘just in case’.....there is a great job opportunity but scared to apply as the mat leave is poor and only pays a decent rate once you have been at the company for a set period of time. I’m kinda getting fed up putting a lot of things on hold ‘just in case’....

@bubblybrit yeah same here we've put off decorating, holidays, booking the wedding, both financially and whether we get pregnant or not it's just so annoying

@bubblybrit dd is 18 months and I know that we were very lucky to conceive her first month and I knew if we tried for another it wouldn’t be as easy...but...I still deep down hoped to get that bfp first time again so was really disappointed when I didn’t. But it’s only cycle 3 so still hopeful! Fingers crossed you can get work sorted around ovulation.

Annoyingly dh started to feel better towards the end of fertility week and got his enthusiasm for dtd back however I found myself being like ‘well there’s no point now’ Grin

@owlpatrol. Yeah I think it’s the main thing that is frustrating me at the moment. Want to enjoy life whilst ttc but I’m feeling as life is on hold due to this journey. Will be totally worth it once baby arrives though so shouldn’t really complain....but I will anyway xx

@chocaholic1. I was convinced that I would be one of the lucky ones and conceive first cycle. Clearly that didn’t happen and the frustration has kicked it. Even although it’s only cycle 5 and I really shouldn’t be complaining!

I’m finding that dtd revolves around ttc now. Rather than being spontaneous!

Owlpatrol that's exactly my problem - I find work v stressful but don't want to leave because of mat pay and also because I have a three month notice period and so don't want to stop ttc for that long! Last time I applied for a new job I fell pregnant within weeks so I applied for a new job today in the hope the same thing would happen!!

How did they guess you're ttc? Maybe just look on it as a stepping stone so you can de-stress and then leave after you've used them for their mat leave (soon hopefully!) - Although I know that's far easier said than done!!! Esp when you don't have timescales!

@Owlpatrol have you guys had tests done? A semen analysis and a 21 day test is probably where they would start.

Hi ladies, it looks like I'm officially on CD 1. Started bleeding just as hubby and I finished having sex last night (v. Gross - think hubby was a bit traumatised lol), and still bleeding lightly this morning so I think my period has officially arrived. Seems a bit weird though, haven't had one since Halloween. Happy that this should mean I'm back to whatever will become normal cycle wise now though. Fingers crossed I'll be back to 30-35 day cycles quickly. Hoping there are still some BFPs to come for March though.

@HidCat sorry about that. But it means you can start trying again. I'm still here day 42 with period cramps but still nothing! I've started taking daily pregnancy tests and they are always negative.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that owlpatrol but 1) you've started a new month so can look fwd now and 2) hopefully the doc can help in some way - sometimes just knowing someone is helping releases some stress.

Still no af but due today / tomorrow - had stressful week at work - only just on way home now - so I think that might have delayed af as I'm def not pregnant!! Looking fwd to April but then realised that we're going to visit the in-laws on the weekend I'm due to be ovulating 😏

How is everyone doing? I have been extremely busy with work this week, which has meant zero symptom spotting & forgetting how many dpo, just logged into my app which confirms I am 8dpo & I can taste in 3 days. Likely to hold out until Tuesday though which is when af is due xx

AF arrived for me (I think). Very short and very light but will put that down to messed up cycles after MC. I'm joining the April bus now with AF due around 29th April

@Kentishgal ahhh hun sorry to hear af arrived and that you'll be at in laws when ovulating grr. It's nice to have a cycle buddy in April I'll join the bus soon. Currently nursing a red wine hangover and I've decided to enjoy myself this month. And yep I'm looking forward to the dr it's right in fw so let's see. It's nice to feel a weight off my shoulders to be honest. That said I'm so busy and stressed at work myself that I'm sure that's not helping me either

@HidCat. I lol'd at your period sex post, not because I am weird but the exact same thing happened to me yesterday! It was all like "Ah glorious sex.. ..oh no wait....flo Shock Blush lol. Luckily it was a miniscule amount!
