Hi, I hope I'm writing in the correct place.
Please can I have some advice. 3 weeks ago , I was 12 weeks pregnant.

We went for our 12 week scan and were told the babies skull had not formed and it would not survive birth. The consultant told us , we have no option but to have an undecided miscarriage.

It been so sad , but I'm longing to be pregnant again. However I can't seem to find any advice.

I spoke to the midwife today, she said I need to wait 3 full cycles. To see if my cycles are regular again???

But then said .. However, no one would be worried if you got pregnant now??

Has anyone been through this ??

I've no idea if it's any different in terms of induced miscarriage but I had a natural miscarriage and we started TTC straightaway.

I primarily want to comment to say how sorry I am for your loss and what you've been through as a family.

Hope you get the news you desire soon x x
Hopefully you

@Torie10 I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you're feeling ok.

Just looking through the posts here you'll see that the advice given is often to wait a few cycles for reasons such as being able to date future pregnancies or just to let things settle down. If they haven't given a clear medical reason though I'd say get back to it as soon as you feel able.

I'm still waiting for HCG to return to zero after a natural miscarriage and had planned to wait until after my period returned but after 5 weeks of waiting we're now just dtd and seeing what happens.
