Is this a chemical pregnancy??

Just would like to hear some stories as I have spent the last 5 days believing I'm pregnant (bought the folic acid and everything) after having 3 positive FRER. Only today I did my 4th FRER which was very very faint and I have had some cramping (similar to period cramps but not as bad as I usually get) and bleeding with smaller clots. My AF was due yesterday/today (I vary between 29-31 day cycles) and last AF prior was Dec 30th 2017.

Has anyone had bleeding at around 4-5 weeks and still gone on to be pregnant or should I accept this is chemical and try to move on??

I have had 3 chemicals in a row over 6 months. The first one was like a period. Second lots of blood and third absolute agony - like bloody labour!! They are a shitty part of ttc unfortunately and best to move quickly forward or you really won't have the mh to keep on trying!! Imo /e.
Flowers.

@Myddognearlyatethedeliveryman I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I'm currently experiencing my second early one now. My first at 6 weeks last cycle this one earlier at 4+6. Have you had any explanation as to why you have suffered three back to back? I just keep getting told it's just crap luck and very common but after having had successful pregnancies previously I can't help wondering if something is wrong now :/ CD1 today and keeping fingers crossed for next cycle x

Age related I expect, I had a mmc at 8 weeks just 4 days from my 45 th birthday. We have given up now. Very very grateful for the dc I have already.

Owww I'm so sorry!!!

If you are still TTC keep taking that folic and a prenatal vitamin each day. It's really good to have all the goodness in there ready to go for when the time finally comes!!

I wish you all the very best for the future xx

@Myddognearlyatethedeliveryman I'm glad you have your dc. I know mine make it a little easier, even just to refocus on something positive. My little one just came to me with her last sweetie and asked me to have it because she loves me! How can I be sad when I have such a kind hearted darling.

I'm sorry to hear you have decided to stop ttc. Maybe you shall be blessed with a suprise when you least expect it, you never know!

Take care x

@deepop sorry I missed your message. I think bleeding in early pregnancy is fairly common however if you've had faint test results especially with a sensitive test like FRER and they go back to bfn with bleeding as I have it does sound like a chemical pregnancy to me (though I hate that term!).

If it's any consolation I have found them to be very common in my reading following two back to back. Doesn't make it easier no but at least I know I'm not alone and it doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. I'm going to have a little chat with my gp this week just incase but I'm sure she'll say the same.

Good luck in your journey. It will happen. I've promised myself I'm not going to test until I'm at least 2 weeks late next time and will test with the least sensitive test I can find! I can't bear the heartache anymore so going to do it there old fashioned way from now on haha x

@mamabear05 I feel your pain! You are so brave and funny enough I've promised myself the same. Wait until I'm truly late next time! What will be will be and good luck to you! I'm sure it will happen xx
