Silly question.

So I BBT'd all last cycle. It remained high after ovulation and I got quite excited. Period arrived. Or at least what I assume was my period. Spotting day 1, medium day 2, light day 3 and nothing day 4. This is strange for me. Also, my bbt has remained high, it hasn't dropped again. I have been feeling exceptionally tired the past week and burst into tears last night and have continuous niggling headaches. DH asked what was wrong and I said I didn't know. I tested last cycle at 9 and 10dpo and funnily enough, got BFN.
Is it likely that I could be one of those one in a million women that continue to get their periods while pregnant?!?

Well, the thing is there's a million and one possible reasons for every bodily symptom that MIGHT be associated with pregnancy and only one reason to have HCG in your body.

Take another test. If it's negative then it's very probably other stuff going on. If it's positive... Well, you know. Grin

Women don't have periods when pregnant. Yes they can have vaginal bleeding, but an actual menstrual bleed, where the womb lining sheds is not possible during pregnancy. I've had some bleeding during my pregnancies but was very light and dark like old blood.

Do you know how long your leutal phase is normally? and how many days after ovulation did you 'period' start? Might help us to figure it out.
