Hi girls,

Basically, I don't/can't check BBT reliably because;

#1 - I work shifts and my client wakes during the night
#2 - I breathe through my mouth more often than not and (stupidly) didn't realise this would affect BBT (when taken in mouth)
#3 - DP doesn't like me doing all these "controlled" things and gets annoyed 😂

So I was just wondering if any of you do go by your RHR? Mine seems to have a very clear pattern each month (rise and falls).
And just wanted to know what people's thoughts on this are!😊

Her is my chart I got af yesterday evening :( I am bbt monitoring and opking this month, I last fell pregnant in Feb 2016 (successful dd) DH also conceived a son in Feb 2012 with a previous partner as a joke we all say he can only produce babies in February haha

@DwangelaForever WOW that's high! Haha, what is your RHR normally? Well I hope I get the chance to turn it off soon!

@FuckMyUterus Yeah that's what I've heard happens, rises high then maintains up there!
CONGRATS 😊

Mines just taken a dip 😢

@Korez No I see what you mean, the first 2 months you could see the dip around AF time but Sept was more or less a straight line!

@winterwarmers maybe it was meant to be for Feb then 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@xLauraa 😂😂 I looked back at my Fitbit and realised I was talking shit 😂 it was 79 when pregnant as opposed to 73 resting 😂 (I'm really unfit)

xLauraa · 22/01/2018 17:35

@DwangelaForever 😂😂 I was going to say! 70s is ok and doesn't mean you're unfit by the way 😊 was hoping my huge rise was a sign this month but blatantly not!

I'm still not sure I get this but this is my current RHR. Ov'd on 21st. AF due 2nd Feb.Thought?

I can't see the date on it? Can you post the other chart

Twistedsister7 · 26/01/2018 06:59

Sorry, here it is!

@Twistedsister7 well it's risen after OV so it just needs to stay up now, in a way it's very similar to BBT! apparently anyway

this is mine. RHR is the same for day 4 now. Hope this is a good sign!

Thanks for the help. I've avoided temping as I'm terrible at getting up and would miss the opportunity. This just seems easier as I wear it constantly. Mine had a little dip but hopefully it will stay up now. Fx for you.

xLauraa · 26/01/2018 13:02

Mines gone down 1BPM today, hopefully it's not the start of a downward trend now Sadthank you you too

winterwarmers · 01/02/2018 08:52

cd13 does your temp normally go up then drop at ovulation and then rise again?

I didn't use heart data to track fertility, but it DID give me a clue when I fell pregnant - my RHR rose above 65 for the first time ever!

Twistedsister7 · 01/02/2018 14:38

This is mine for January, same RHR today and AF due tomorrow. I have tested and bfn but I did test too early really based on ov day!

The lowest point in January is end of last AF.

Any theories or comments for the newbie to RHR (not TTC - I'm nearly 18 months into this) 😬😬

Why did I not find this thread before? Just got a BFP (fingers crossed it sticks) and here is my chart for the month. I’m too lazy to temp so I find it quite helpful although clearly not as accurate as temping.

AF due today & temps were going down so counted myself out. Today a spike?! I've got a cold, would that affect RHR?

I have been incredibly tired & generally sore & achy & this cold is unusual in that I always get it in my sinuses & this time it's more my throat affected.

Last months shows AF 2nd-6th, flat bit is FW then rise & fall to AF. Non-dated chart shows today's spike.

With all this snow I'm not getting to a shop for a test so wait & see I guess. I'm going between 'could it be' and ' don't be so stupid' 😂

Should add been TTC 1 for 14 months & just had GP appointment to start testing. Hence the reduced optimism.
