Argh the agony of waiting! I did get a second positive opk but that was still 12 days ago so guess this still should be darker. Going to try and forget about it (whilst thinking about nothing BUT this!) And test again on Monday. Thanks girls

I'm hoping off the bus now until May when we start TTC officially. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don't see any of you then as you'll all have your BFPs!

@nosering girl. May see you in May, we are trying jan and feb then skipping March and April because we are lucky enough to already have a Christmas baby and would like to spread them out if possible!

I feel like this has been the longest week of my life! Only 8dpo now. I had ‘symptoms’ a couple of days ago but nothing now. Except for exhaustion but I think that’s the tail end of my chest infection.

Watching out for more bfps!

Does anyone know where you can buy FRER in shops? I have only ever got them online and never seen them in supermarkets etc? Thank you

I’m still getting bfn on frer. Some mild cramping (again) this morning and I’m feeling really annoyed that I don’t know what’s going on inside me!

@hopehope20 you can buy FRER in Asda. £6 for 2 so bargain too! Hope you get a definitive answer soon.
I cracked yesterday afternoon and tested. BFN. Gutted. Pretty sure that’s me out but I will retest early next week if AF doesn’t show.
@penny31 which month would result in a Christmas baby? I really don’t want a December baby (already lots of family birthdays in December, such an expensive time of year!) DH gets annoyed with me because I’m picky about months and says at my age (thanks!) we just need to get on with it. He’s right I know he is but he is one of the December birthdays and I know he doesn’t like his Christmas birthday so I’m hoping he might let me skip one month!

@yukka I’m in the same boat. I would’ve usually had cramps by now if AF is due on Tues but haven’t really had much, if any. My cycle is all over the place (52 days last cycle) so I also feel like I have no idea what is going on with my body.

@missdollymix ovulating on 5th April resulted in a Christmas baby for me!

Ps I love having a Christmas baby..well she’s 4 now! But I’d like to try not to have another x

Thanks @penny31 To be fair, DH and I have discussed Christmas birthdays a lot and we’ve both agreed that an early January birthday would be worse than a Christmas birthday. Everyone would be miserable and broke and no one’s up for a party in January!

I do have pcos but my cycles have been like 30 days of less for the last 6 months

I'm tentatively hopping off the bus after a bit more of a convincing bfp this morning. I've picked up a digital weeks indicator one to do over the next couple of weeks. Still nervous after the mc!

@MissDollyMix ovulating on 17th April gave me a New Year's Day baby. Hope he doesn't find his early January birthday too miserable when he's older! It was the month we weren't "trying" after 15 months of trying before that (to avoid that time of year) that I got pregnant.

@noseringGirl I would think 1 January would be quite a good birthday as it will always be a bank holiday! It’s about a week later when everyone is broke and on a diet. Quite honestly, I’d still take a January baby over no baby though!

Well done for getting to fri @colourful86 think if it helps to feel that you're doing something then test away! Any clearer where you're at? Haven't used opks before, going to see how my best guess + Glow app + lots and lots of DTD goes this month but expecting AF on the 20th so if she lets me down might give them a go in March.

@hopehope20 I just bought my first pack of FRER today in a small enough Boots in my local town! Hope you find some Testing tomorrow as AF due any day nervous and trying not to get hopes too high!

Anyone have any tales of how late they are (past af due date) before getting a positive result?

@PassTheAfterEights I may have ovulated Tuesday... but i'm not 100% where I'm at currently opks are all white, no symptoms of anything... it's a mystery! Dtd at least every other day, eventually I'll get some sign of something, just trying to keep my mind off it and keep busy... easier said than done. Booked summer holiday today, we'd been putting it off, but even if we catch this month the furthest I'll be is 5-6 months along, can't keep putting things off 'just in case'

Not me personally @Yukka but I was speaking to a lady last month who got her bfp a couple of weeks after af was due. I'll try and find the post that she copied into the thread xx
