Congrats on all the BFPs! What a lucky thread. I'm now a day late for AF but BFN on One Step tests. Im supposed to be going out on Thursday AND Saturday and I'd like to know one way or the other so if I'm not going to have a glass of wine that I am 100% happy because I know it would be keeping a wee bean safe but the not knowing sucks.

"I meant fiancé and I timed everything right" rather than implying I found a fiancé this month

Thanks ladies, I am a bit shocked I think! AF not due until Saturday so not counting chickens yet but I did another test this evening and got another line. Will buy a FRER in the morning to see what’s what.

Fingers crossed for all of you waiting to test, I am fully aware how lucky I am to have had this part of the journey of motherhood easy, and I hope you all achieve your dreams of a BFP soon!

Congratulations to those who have got BFPs already!!

Hopping off the January bus and onto the February one but I will take the standing room as due end of the month and AF just arrived today.

Am going to be monitoring HR this cycle as got new Fitbit for Christmas with HR so have now got a month to compare, if no joy this cycle will consider getting some OPKs but never tried that before. Was really hoping January would be our month (seems everyone we know if pregnant at the moment!!) and even did it with grim colds!!!

I caved and tested this afternoon ... bfn but going to test again in the morning as I had drunk about 4 pints of water so was a bit worried my wee might have just been water!!

I'm cd38 and still no sign of AF!

I like to tell myself that if I'm out for the month it gives me another month to lose some more weight and save a bit more cash so it's not all bad :)

I came home from work in a depressed old funk and DH came home in an even worse mood (over something at work, I haven’t mentioned the test) but cheered up after a small glass of wine. Currently snuggled up on the sofa, cuddling my dog (not a euphemism, we’ve don’t far too much of that this month) and watching American Pie. Trying to count my blessings and not get too hung up with TTC (much easier said than done!) Boobs still so bloody sore. It’s like a constant tease.

@Owlpatrol fingers and toes crossed for you here. 13 cycles must seem like a lifetime! Really hope you get a positive tomorrow.

I'm only cd8 and just started dtd. Lying here with bum up on pillows!! A bit ridiculous as not even in fertile window but had some faint lines on opk today and yesterday. After tomorrow unlikely we'll get the chance to dtd for a week.

(The bum on pillows worked well for me in the past...I know it's prob a myth but not giving up on it now )

SMEP question - I'm away for the night on CD8, so should we shag CD9 and 10 then every alt. night, or go oddsies and do 9,11,13 etc until OPK says it's dropped?

Morning ladies....thanks so much for your support yesterday unfortunately it's a bfn this morning on an ic so not holding out much more hope because I wouldn't to a normal test unless there was a faint line on the ic first. Anyways I'll keep you posted as I'm never late for af so expecting it today at least! Xxxx

@Owlpatrol sorry to hear. I'm the same as you this month as in I'm determined to see a line in an IC before I start using the expensive ones. But I think they're less sensitive? Hang in there, fx no af today

Yeah it's just so confusing hehe. Trying to stay positive though I know it's only a ic test! I've spent so much money on normal tests that I always do a cheapie first. Good luck to all those waiting for bfps as well this week xx

@owlpatrol fx you never know. Not sure ic tests are that reliable anyway.

Anyone got much experience in Temp testing.. is it supposed to fall the day before af due?

Yeah they are supposed to go down day before or day of af. Mines gone down this morning xx

Oh boo, I’m really sorry about the BFN @owlpatrol. There’s something rather depressing about the blank HPT. I hope you’ve got a little treat planned for yourself today, something to look forward to (I usually seek solace in cake, hence my ever increasing backside)
I wish I could heed my own advice and just stop testing. Next month (for those still around, hopefully won’t be many of you!) please can you remind me NOT to test early!

Aw mannn cant you try a frer? An ic was bfn for me when a frer had faint.... massive hugs

I'm sorry to hear about your bfn @Owlpatrol. But like others gave said, you're not out just yet.

I did a frer this morning. I'm not sure if there might have been the faintest of squinters! Or whether I was just seeing what I wanted to see...which I think is more likely. There's no point posting a photo as it won't show up. I'll wait a couple more days to see if AF appears and test again.
