@DaisyMay25 yep I think you're right! I had a positive opk that looked like your top two at about 5pm and then had strong ovulation pains at 2am. The next day my opk looked like your bottom two and the app pinpointed ovulation to the day of the positive opk. Are you dtd lots?

I'm doing SMEP so CD8, 10 and last night was 12 so last night too, now the next two night two day off then once more, I hope this month works!

@sodababy2 @felicityheather @LookingAtTheStars89 I'll probably do a test in a week or so just in case, then wait for the lovely AF. And I'll just keep watching my BBT. Xx

@DaisyMay25 I'm impressed! I haven't even entertained the thought of SMEP, my DH would die! We managed 3 nights in a row this cycle & he was v proud 😂 fx for you!

I think my DH's equipment would fall off if we did SMEP!

I'm on CD13 and going by CM I'm guessing I'm a little way off ovulation yet but going to try dtd tomorrow and Sunday. We tend to gym quite a lot in the week which gets in the way of dtd but I'll try and make sure we do it any day I have ewcm. I'm quite overweight so I'd rather get down the gym really than dtd so I'm as healthy as possible if and when I get that BFP.

Luckily looks to me like I'm ovulation on CD13 so not too much DTD
@sophherts it's the three days in a row that'll kill me! I've told him once we've done them three, the day off and once more that's it for a month 😂

My boobs are sore after breastfeeding DS2 today. I've decided this is certainly a symptom of pregnancy and definitely not the bad latch of a teething baby.

@Yukka it's the sperm meets egg plan. It's basically a schedule of when to DTD to maximise the amount of sperm hanging around when you ovulate.

Gotcha thanks did a quick google too seems recommended. I guess we’re doing a less aggressive version of it!

I have a slightly crazy superstitious comment to make, I had 2mcs before, and both times whilst pg my cat couldn’t stay away from me. Literally every time I sat down she would crawl into my stomach. I’m 7days dpo and cat is all over me again. I don’t really believe that animals can sense things .... but then again.. it’s a bit weird??!!! Anyone got any thoughts on this!

@Yukka it's my first month trying it and I've got high hopes!
Strange about the cat but they know when people are poorly so I guess they can probably sense a change in hormones? It's an interesting one, I'd love for it to be your first sign of pregnancy though!
Actually my female cat was spayed on Tuesday and my make cat went mental at her when she got back, like he didn't know her, vet said it'll be the change in hormones, so maybe they can sense yours too?

Ah good luck @daisymay25 ! It’s just so funny like she ignores me she’s 18 and nearly always in her deathbed literally st the moment but then this patterns occurs when she won’t loesce me alone. It would be a nice sign wouldn’t it. Debating when to test, no symptoms yet but last 2 no symptoms till AF was due either so..trying to wait it out. I’ll keep myself busy stroking the cat!😻

@Yukka I'm not superstitious at all and don't have any pets but I do believe animals can have a sense for these things. Often heard stories about dogs being extra protective during pregnancy. I would be hopeful.

Jealous of all of you that are near testing. I'm cd3/4 and just had a look at my Ovia app and looking unlikely that we'll get to dtd when I'm due to ovulate or in the days leading up to it. Both doing shift work and 2 young dcs. Will have to try conning the dcs into going to bed an hour early some evening...wishful thinking! Too young to leave alone watching tv as 2.5yr old liable to try flying off the kitchen table.

@Yukka my dog was glued to my belly when I was pg, even before I knew! It ended in mc and very quickly she went back to normal, I think they can definitely sense a change in our hormones

@Yukka one of my cats is extra cuddly and gentle with me when I'm pregnant. It makes sense that animals can detect small changes in us before we know.

@dontquit I sympathise! Having young kids definitely makes it more difficult to TTC. We keep missing opportunities when the 1 year old wakes up during the night.

@Yukka definitely something in the cat thing I reckon. I remember going to a friend's house and her cat wouldn't leave me alone and kept trying to lie across my tummy. I'm not a cat person at all btw. 2 days later I got my BFP. Weird!

Hate being irregular, I'd much rather just know what's going on - due AF from yesterday up to Saturday! Feeling nothing yet

my cat knew before i did with dd from 5dpo she followed me everywhere including for a bath

Just been lurking since start of thread. I'm 8dpo today and trying to stay positive and forget about TTC until next week. HOWEVER, my dog has gone crazy every night I've got home this week. He's normally pleased to see my, but a couple of times this week he's practically done a little dance! also keeps wanting to get in my lap, but he's quite large, so it doesn't really work

@xLauraa. My longest ever? Lol months! My longest in the last year or so is this cycle - I am cd42! I seem to have a few cycles that are "normal" and then wonky ones or completely missing! I thought I was due to ov on cd 24 but now think it may have been more like 30/31!

Yikes keeping my fx that kitty kat can sense something!

Anyone else due to test next week? AF due Thursday could start early detectors from tomorrow but really trying to wait this time x
