I've tested twice today, flashing smiley both times! I'm really starting to think I missed it on CD 13. I did some reading and came across 'secondary oestrogen surge' that happens after ovulation. Is it possible that that's what my opk is picking up perhaps?

Have you been dtd in the last few days anyway?! Hopefully you've caught it at the right time xx

We've been dtd every other day, just in case! Why are bodies so confusing?! 😂

Not that hopeful although having some pelvic twinges like what I had before...dunno if it’s psychological or just my body rearraging itself after mc!

Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for the last 18 months now and the heartbreak every single time AF comes is awful, I get so upset and bless my OH he try's his best to understand but just doesn't quite understand, I know loads of people who are having babies this year and I also can't help but feel envious and jealous of them as awful as that sounds, we are due to start IVF next month so I'm really hoping we get some success with that!

@kjackson02 Have you tried preseed? It's a lubricant that helps the sperm swim easier to the egg. (Very basic description). My husband and I have been trying for about 6 months and then this cycle I used preseed and now have a bfp but I am still 2 days til my AF is due so I am trying not to get my hopes up cause could be chemical. BUT the preseed as least has helped me get pregnant!

Oh well that sounds promising 😂😂 Sounds like you're perhaps in with a good chance this month - you'll have to keep us updated. 

@Birdie963 - with the preseed, is it aimed at ladies who need lubricant?! Amazing that you got caught so soon with it xx

LittleMiss, it's marketed as a product that helps the CM be the exact consistency that it needs to be. If the CM is too thick or stick sperm can't swim easily through it so the lubricant is supposed to assist the little swimmers haha!!

I've been using conceive plus for the last few cycles, with no luck, so I've ordered some pre seed too 😊 fingers crossed! However, I have just scared myself by finding some previous posts from people saying there's a link between pressed and miscarriage. Has anyone heard this before? I think I'm still going to use it, because so far I've had no bfp anyway, so it's worth a try!

Aridia, I read that too but I tried to rationalise it that MC is so common that it's going to be a sure thing that SOME OF the women that have tried preseed would MC. Try not to let it put you off! I'm sure there really isn't a link

I've never heard that! What's the theory behind the link?
We used conceive plus and preseed both times we've been TTC. We used it for quite a few cycles so not sure how much difference it made! It was useful when I had clomid as that can dry up your CM.

Only 7dpo but feeling a tiny bit nauseous today which is very unlike me. Sure it’s probably all in my head and too early for any of that! Only 2nd cycle trying and already symptom spotting like a crazy person 😊

R.e. The preseed; i dont think its linked to mc imho. Last cycle i didnt use preseed and i miscarried. This cycle i used preseed and so far (fx🤞🏼) its going fine. I wouldnt worry about that personally x

@Birdie, I think you're right. It's a bit like when headache tablets list headache as a possible side effect! It goes with the territory! I'm going to carry on using it anyway, I've heard a lot of success stories. Sorry if I worried anyone!

@NoseringGirl I don't really know what the theory is tbh. I read a couple of suggestions that it could make it easier for 'less good' sperm to make it through, meaning the body thinks the embryo isn't good enough so miscarries. But I don't know if there's any since behind it. Tbh, any sperm that make it through would be a bonus at the mo!

@HoneyCake86 did you have an af between your mc and this pregnancy?
I'm Just trying to work out when I might ov again, just finished a mc.
My Ovia app doesn't know what to tell me, it's all over, and opks are saying I'm ov but I think that are picking up HCG that is still left over

Only way to tell is to do a pg test n see if anythings picked up on there. Yeah i had af the day my hcg returned to 0 but it was a lighter one than normal, i imagine thats because id bled so bad with the mc there wasnt much more to come out xx

Started tracking my BBT this month, temp seems pretty high to me, but I could just run warm. Had a tiny tiny bleed on 19th Jan, so playing the waiting game. Doing BD every 2/3 days.

AF due 10th Feb ish. Still not totally settled after implant out last July.
