Best position for TTC after DTD...

This is my first cycle of TTC and I've been keeping my legs raised after DTD for about 20-30 mins each time. I'm not sure if there's a better position for doing this though - what's the best kind of position? I've been propping up on a pillow with either my legs in the air like an L shape, or knees to chest.

Am I doing it right...?

Honestly, there’s absolutely no need to do this unless your partner has issues with his sperm. Ejaculation takes sperm up to where they need to be within seconds, the “fallout” if you will, is semen. Peeing straight after sex is recommend to decrease the risk of a UTI. Doctors will say to elevate hips/legs for a short period of time if your partner has a low sperm count or motility issues but other than that, there’s really no need to do it. There’s no evidence to suggest it makes any difference to couples who have no sperm issues.

@bubblegum89 Thanks for that, as it reassures me that I've not "not been doing it for long enough". Did one of those sperm checks earlier in the year and all was OK. I get regular ovulation pains and ewcm, and I've done an ovarian reserve test so Fx we're doing all the right stuff... We've been dtd quite a bit since before Christmas too and I'm hoping we catch the egg!

Just have sex. No need for legs in air stuff you see on TV. Sperm will get there if it's going to.
