We have 3 lovely healthy happy children, each one of them planned but not conceived without heartache or experiencing loss.

Fast forward a few years, we are comfortable, don't have the biggest house with 2 of our children sharing a room. We do have a good business, a loving relationship together and things are good. We are happy and content as 5.

We had a discussion the other day and it appears neither of us have ruled out (despite thinking each other had) trying for a fourth...

How does a fourth child change dynamics of a family? The practicalities, we both only have 5 seater vehicles, living space etc? The physical effects on the body from carrying a pregnancy a few years on?

Our youngest is nearly 6 eldest 10.....just curious to get people's thoughts? Will the age gap effect our children, will they resent us for it?

Basically how did going from 3 to 4 change your lives?

I know someone who went for a fourth and it is triplets. Natural conception.

Go for it! We have three and we are ttc number 4. We conceived in July but lost the baby. I was apprehensive at first, even when we first got pregnant with number 4 but when we lost them it made me realise how much I actually did want number 4.

We just bought a new car with more seats, it wasn't a "new" new car but it's a good runner.
