I started taking Seven Seas Trying For A Baby this month and also a b6 complex vitamin, along with trying to track ovulation with a clear blue opk. So far no static face and I'm on cd20 - have the vitamins stopped my ovulation??? :-(

They are designed to regulate your cycle, which in my case has meant making it longer, so delayed ovulation and a slightly longer luteal phase. Some women don't experience any change, some do. How long is your usual cycle? Do you know that you ovulate usually, and when? What's your CM like?

Clear Blue OPKs aren't 100% reliable, and if you look around the threads here some women have never got a positive OPK yet are pregnant or have babies. Also, they just detect the surge, they can't confirm you're ovulating. Some women have short surges that get missed, or multiple surges.

Plus, TTC can be stressful and stress can also affect your cycle, and when TTC we're often much more aware of our cycle than we were before.

If you're worried it's the seven seas affecting a change switch to a different source of folic acid and vit d, and/or make sure you are DTD every other day from the end of your period to the start of the next, so you're not relying on timing sex for ovulation.

@chevrechevre My cycles are between 28 and 31 days long. I don't really know when I ovulate! I can't really rely on cervical mucus as sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't! We have been dtd every other day so that we don't miss it.
From a normal everyday point of view, the extra vitamins are making me less tires and my skin looks great lol so I'm hoping they are doing something good!

Stars I was a bit worried the first month taking seven seas when my cycle was a bit longer but actually taking them has improved my PMS symptoms a lot and my actual period is more regular in terms of (tmi) flow and length as well so that must be good. I like how small and convenient (and cheap) the actual pills are.

It sounds like you're doing everything to TTC successfully! Fingers crossed for you Smile

Everyone says try not to worry, that is of course easier said than done, but the stats are on your side and I keep in mind that stress is probably one of the worst things I can do at this stage for my body, so being calm and relaxed is one of my TTC 'tools', IYSWIM.
