Using 9 yr old frozen embryos

Hi, just a question for you all. I had IVF cycle which resulted in 15 fertilised embryos. I took out four to thaw then one was transferred and resulted in my beautiful 8 yr old daughter. I am ready to give her a sibling from the remaining embryos I have on ice. My question is, I am 35 now but obviously the embryos were created with my 26 yr old eggs, so does this mean that the increased risks for things like downs and other defects, would remain at the same level as any healthy 26 yr old woman rather then the level they would be at for a 35 yr old woman. Obviously my body is older now, but the actual embryos are still young at 26? Does this make sense lol.
Thanks for your inputs.

Your embryos are still 26 years old eggs surely?

zonkin · 02/11/2017 10:28

The risk is at the level of the 26 year old you.

They will be fine! Literally frozen in time.

I had mine three and a half years apart. Both perfect ! Good luck

Surely the risk remains as it was at the time of freezing.

Good Luck!
