Fertility Diet

Are people changing their diet during their cycle or eating anything differently/ditching anything?

In my general spirit of TRY ALL THE THINGS! I'm looking into this a bit. My workfriend and I are stopping sweets during the week for the month of September and I'm trying to get back into bringing my lunch so it's really about taking a bit of extra effort.
AF has just about fucked off so I guess I'm in my follicular phase. I've realised I'm out of porridge for breakfast, but I've made some sweet potatoes, chicken and quinoa with veggies for work tomorrow. I won't be home for dinner so I'll need to grab something at work that's reasonably fresh and protein heavy.
I need to make a meal plan for the rest of the week and do some shopping, so any suggestions would be great or it would be good to hear if anyone is doing anything similar.

I've just bought the book 'fertility' by Emma cannon which gives you recipes for foods to make you more fertile. It's broken down into sections as apparently you should eat different types during the different days of the cycle. I'm just getting a plan together as I'm still awaiting my first period after stopping my pill 6 weeks ago.

Zita West also has good ideas. Can be found in her book or you can see her preparing some of her recipes on YouTube.

Bambino if you are on interest have a look at emma cannon on there. I found her as I follow Madeline shaw and have a few of her books too. Emma helped Madeline get pregnant through diet as Madeline wasn't having regular periods

I just bought a different book by Emma Cannon, the baby making bible I think it's called. I only had time for a quick look last night so I'm looking forward to having a proper read. I'll look into Zita West too, thanks.

Hmm, I'm not blown away by the amount of recipes, etc in the Baby Making Bible, but maybe it's just me? ArmyGirl, what do you think of the one you have? Are there many recipes in it?

Currently my weekday goes a bit like this:
Breakfast: porridge with cinnamon, chia seeds, blueberries and almond milk. A pint glass with 1 part pomegranate juice, 1 part apple juice, 2 parts hot water
Lunch: roasted sweet potatoes, veggies, chicken and spinach with some lemon juice.
Snacks: satsumas and a banana
Dinner: Different every night, but I've had salmon twice and at least one night with red meat. Dessert is full fat greek yogurt with some warm berry compote and crumbled meringue.
I also drink a couple large cups of raspberry leaf tea and a cup of nettle tea and plenty of water.

Apparently eggs are very good for the follicular phase, but I don't like them. I've had an egg white omelette at the weekend, hopefully it's not the yolk that does the good stuff!

I'm not due to ovulate until around the 19th so I'll probably keep this routine up till then. Or something similar to it.

Holy there's quite a few recipes in her fertility book. I don't kmow how different they would be from her baby making recipes. She recommends bone broth because of the nutrients and also liver and kidneys which I've never eaten in my life lol. I've got a batch of bone broth in the slow cooker as we speak.
I've started drinking kefir milk and I've got grains on the way to make my own as she puts a lot of emphasis on good gut.
Your diet seems very healthy and well balanced.
