af isnt due til next sat/mon depending on whether cd1 is from spotting or bleeding. got a BFP yesterday after 3mcs and 1 ep in the last 18m, (you know the story) got my day 21 blood test on monday with the specialist should i go and ask for a pg blood test at the same time, just go and pretend i didnt see the line or cancel the appt?

It might be worth going along anyway as you've suffered miscarriages in the past - I have no idea but your fab fertility nurse might have some other tests she thinks it worth doing??

It's amazing you have got a BFP so early!

(If you hadn't guessed this I'm a chocolate coated Sunshinedays)

got a bfp at 2w+5 with ds, with my mcs and the ep twas after af was due!

You must have had some other signs to convince you it was worth a test? Was it with an early test stick or just a standard one?
(This news could send me into a spin of frantic early testing (sounds expensive!))

twas a cheap test, not a really early one and only faint (but there) bfp iykwim. boobs are huge and hurt like buggery. feel v sick, got headache am starving (have eaten 10 doughnuts in 36hrs) and exhausted!

I don't think I've eaten a doughnut for the last 10yrs... so maybe I'll see a craving for a doughnut (or 10) as a sign ... and save myself the money on tests!

Go along, have a chat. They're going to want to do blood tests and early scans and the earlier you are on their radar the better.

am waiting til af due date then will get straight on the phone. the fertility nurse gave me a special no to call in such a case!

right, started spotting this morning (seems to have stopped now) along with back ache (also gone) af isnt due til mon, tested clear bfp thurs night, could this be implantation or a chemical pregnancy that proves that no good comes of early testing.

still feel sick and v emotional, still feel pg but am scared that its just wishful thinking on my part

brown spotting. the prob is ive had so many bleeds with all my pgs that its hard to remember what they were all like iykwim. with ds i bled quite heavily and with the mcs i think the bleeding was red and heavy straight off the bat. with the ep it was spotting dark tar-like blood on and off for about 2w

I have read dark spotting is 'better' than red spotting (though no spotting would be better ).

Do you do temperature monitoring? If so - this might shed some light.

Have you tried calling the number the fertility nurse gave you - might be worth trying today as tomorrow and easter monday may be harder to get through.

dont think theyll see me as im not even 4w yet. hate all this ttc/ftc crap. feel so bad now as if im just waiting for things to go badly wrong

its red now, and still only light. at MiLs and shes washed newborn clothes for SiL's new baby, she keeps showing them to me. its not fecking fair!

Lissie, I don't really know what a chemical pregnancy is, but still, you have been through more than anyone should ever have to go through, so I am really sorry.

thank you, a chemical pg is where the egg is fertilised and multiplies as normal but fails to implant properly. its basically a v v early miscarriage.

a lesson to all that early testing is evil. sorry am prob being flippant but dont know how to deal with this
