Hi,
Had anyone got any experience with home bargains pregnancy tests? They sell a pack of 3 for 75p. Are they any good?

Also people talk about "pink" tests, sorry to be so stupid but are they literally just the ones where the line is pink? And if so why are they better?

Sorry this is a whole new world to me Blush

In my experience, it doesn't matter how much the test costs, it's the sensitivity of it that matters. You're looking for miu (the lower the better) which will pick up hcg hormones quicker than others. I think the lowest is 5 or 10. I know digitalis can be as high as 50, so people get negative results on those more often.

First response are the recommended tests on here, as they are sensitive and also pink dye

Pink dye tests are easier to read, as blue dye tests can show evap lines more easily than pink dye

I was ttc for 12 cycles so I peed on many many sticks!!

Good luck Flowers

I got a positive on a B&M bargains test (2 for £1), Clear & Simple I think they are called, at 10dpo with afternoon urine after about a 2 hour hold! Also had a feint line on an internet cheapy One Step that are supposed to be 10miu!

Yes, pink ones are just ones with pink dye, as blue ones are more prone to evap lines, though I did get a positive, albeit much feinter, on a Tesco blue dye test at the same time as the B&M one!
