Trying for first baby

Hello I'm 23 and I've just had my implant removed last Monday. I'm taking pregnacare supplements, is there anything else I can do? Also when I started having sex at 16 I had about 2 years of unprotected sexual and never fell pregnant. Which looking back worries me a bit because my periods were always irregular and sometimes I couldn't go to work because they were so bad like sometimes I had sickness, extremely heavy bleeds, very painful, a temperature etc. I went to the Doctor but they said it was normal. @TTCI it's sooooooo frustrating i know. I took me a good 5/6 weeks to settle back in to normal cycles after stopping the pill! Hope you get back to your normal soon 😊 Yea Im good, great support from my OH and family. Fingers crossed for us! Let me know how you get on xx

@TTCI ahhhh brilliant! Start tracking your periods and symptoms and youre on your way. I use the Ovia app and it's working well. We've just ordered some cheapy ovulation tests to give that a go. Im due on Saturday 🙈 I don't think you can add people but feel free to keep posting on here. I will too ☺ xx

I know Ive never been so excited to get my period lol!! Also I read on my flo app that you aren't meant to do an ovulation test in the morning! And I've been doing that this whole time xx

Oh god @TTCI! No wonder lol. Yea I read it between 10am - 8pm?? Still all very new to me 🙈 I think I'm out this month so be happy to get my period out of the way! I'll be testing Saturday if it doesn't show up though eeek xx

Well @TTCI I tested this morning and got BFN and I feel crampy so pretty sure AF os gonna happen ! Roll on next cycle I guess! Xx

@LouLouB1987 according to my app (flo) I'm ovulating on the 8th of august so hard not to assume that I'm just going to fall pregnant lol. Been struggling a bit with my mental health too but fingers crossed xx

@TTCI oooo great news! It is hard not to think it! When your young you always assume if you're not safe you will get pregnant but then when you actually try its not so easy!! I think im due anywhere between 9th-14th. Using ovulations tests for the first time this month!

It can be hard mentally. Im no pro but ive struggled last few months. Ive realised that worrying and stressing is only going to make it harder!

Please don't worry. When I was young there where several instances when I had unprotected sex and never got pregnant. I often wondered if there was something wrong with me as I was sure I would have got pregnant at least one of these times. I then had the implant for 3 years, then another one for 5 years.. I am now 30 and expecting my first child. I have heard stress maybe a factor. Try taking a long break with your other half after you hopefully sort out the issues at work. I am sure you will be fine and will be sharing some very exciting and good news soon :)

I know it's easy to jump to conclusions and I really doubt myself and put myself down because I have mental health issues. Luckily I have a really supportive partner xx what's everyone doing tonight? @TTCI - yes having a supportive partner really makes a difference. I tried to do a little bit of studying - I know - so lame on a saturday night! ☹️

Ended up having a few too many gins !! Bad idea seeing as I am babysitting my niece 🙈 nevermind , ice age and pizza it is! Those both sound like good Saturday nights! Maybe not the studying part lol xx

According to my flo app I was ovulating yesterday and I felt like I was because I had a bit of cramp but the. My and my OH has an argument and had sex this morning instead, does it matter? X

Morning @TTCI its hard to say. I think i egg lives for 24 hours anyway. So as long as its as close as possible..? Had you had sex close before yesterday? Xx

Hi Op, just a thought but heavy painful periods and irregular cycles were a sign of pcos for me do you have any other symptoms? X

@LouLouB1987 I had sex the day before and the day after I can't remember what time at lol  [confused]@holzyb20 I was concerned something was wrong when I was younger but everything seems to have settled down now after having the implant in for 2 years and having it removed xx

Think I'm past ovulation now! Managed to DTD 4 times in the last 6 days so heres to hoping! Just got reeeeeally sore boobs! They do usually start to hurt but normally closer to AF ☺ How are you doing @TTCI? XX

Unprotected sex brings with itself a lot other concerns as well, sexually transmitted diseases etc, therefore if you are having multiple sexual partners i advice you to go for protected sex to keep yourself safe.

@Megha22 I'm not having u protected sex with multiple partners?
