Is this a very faint/early positive?

Hi everybody,

I took a test this morning as I was feeling really impatient, not expecting much as if I am pregnant I would think it'd only be by days.

Before the control line even appeared a small and very faint test line began to appear but didn't quite finish across the test leaving just half a line (a very faint one at that)

I will leave it a few more days before I test again but have any of you experienced this? Is it just an invalid test?

Thanks!

How exciting!! I'm currently in the same boat seeing faint lines and didn't know whether it was just me or not!

I would definitely say it was positive just give it a couple more days and try again! Fingers crossed I'm currently 8 days late and hoping I'll get a stronger positive soon!!

That's very unusual - normally a faint positive would be faint all the way across.

I'd grab another test today! If that like went all the way across it'd be quite a strong positive. Could be a dodgy test though.

Yes its really strange :/ Ill leave it as long as I can to test again, as I would only be a few days pregnant if I was!

Did you dip or pee on the stick? It looks flooded. Try a FRER tomorrow morning. 🙂

In my last pregnancy I remember getting one test that only had half a line. That ended in miscarriage but all was (as it turned out) still well at that point, so it must have been just a duff test that should have been positive. Would definitely echo advice to do another test (preferably frer) - good luck!
