Help!
My periods are all over the place (in the process of being tested for PCOS). A week ago after the period didn't happen for a couple of weeks I did a ovulation test (superdug) and it was positive. A week later I decided to do another test, I've been getting pain as though period is on its way but for some reason I did it anyway and it says positive! How can you have 2 positive OV tests a week apart!??

Are you sure it is positive?

Yes, both times if was a very positive positive line if that makes sense.

Well, if the test line was darker than the test line both times, it is perfectly possible for your body to gear up for ovulation repeatedly but not actually ovulate. The tests don't confirm ovulation.
On the other hand, some ovulation tests can show positive when you are actually pregnant. For this reason I would do a pregnancy test, if only to rule it out.

@user1494844397 did u take pics hunni. When is af due x x

user1494844397 · 14/06/2017 16:32

My previous one looked the same. I have no idea when AF is due now. I was due a couple of weeks ago but it didn't arrive. Pregnancy test was done and was negative. I quite often miss AF because of what we think is PCOS.

Have u took a pregnancy test today at all xx

If you are not pregnant then your body is trying to ovulate but just not getting there. This could be linked to pcos. While you are undergoing testing for this I wouldn't worry about erratic periods or the positive ovulation tests.
