Hi, I hope nobody minds me asking this in here, I am one confused lady!
My periods haven't been regular for about 2 years, they stopped for months after I was in hospital with an illness, and now I can have anywhere between 5 and 10 weeks between them.
I saw my GP 2 weeks ago who ordered some blood tests to check my hormones. I wasn't thinking of pregnancy at this point, the receptionist said they were satisfactory and I have a telephone appointment with the GP on Wednesday. Would they have routinely checked for a pregnancy or not?
For the past 1.5 weeks my breasts have been hurting a lot. They started as a dull ache like I would have before a period, but have been increasing in severity and now I have to wear a bra to bed as they are so painful and sensitive. I have been having regular bad headaches, like I would have before af. I was convinced I was getting my period last week because of the boob pain and sore heads but nothing.
My back has been aching more this week (I do suffer with back pain on a daily basis and take medication for it, but it's definitely been more niggly this week)
1 week ago I took a test and bfn, and again yesterday bfn again. Both were from b&m so I'm unsure of the sensitivity. I also have no idea when I would have ovulated, my last period was 6 weeks ago.
Also, strangely (sorry if way tmi) but the last few days I have been ridiculously horny
which I definitely had with my other pregnancies just not as early I don't think. I haven't been able to orgasm in 18months but I did yesterday for the first time in a long time
I know the smart thing to do would be to wait and speak to my GP when she calls on Wednesday, but I'm such a worrier and I'm just so confused! Also if she calls when the kids are home from school I wouldn't want them hearing me ask about that.
Would there be any way to know when I would have ovulated having such irregular periods? If I'm not pregnant then I'm seriously wondering what on earth is going on.
Thank you to anyone for reading, hoping someone might have some advice for me.
