Don't beat yourself up about it though, it's hard to watch others get pregnant when that's all you want yourself.

We've had a lot of dodgy AFs this cycle haven't we?!

Mine hasn't started yet and was due yesterday. I did another test this morning after my BFN yesterday and I thought I'd seen the faintest line I'd ever seen in my life, sooooo now I'm torturing myself with that! It was pretty nonexistent.. argh!

LinzLinz · 12/06/2017 16:04

Have you got a picture @Cherylttcagain ?? Fingers crossed x

Cherylttcagain · 12/06/2017 16:12

I couldn't get a pic of it, it was so faint. I'll test again though if AF still doesn't turn up. :)

KubaLeebre · 13/06/2017 08:55

Not only did I get a BFN, my period doesn't even have the good grace to show up on time 🙄

Hello - can I join in? Wanted to check first as I don't want to barge into an established group, I won't be offended if you say get lost and start your own thread, honestly!

KubaLeebre · 13/06/2017 11:33

Of course not! I think a few of us might be out now, though! When is your af due?

I'm out, af this morning. Grr.

Dandandandandandandan · 13/06/2017 11:39

About 26 June - after years of a 35 day cycle it's just dropped to about 27 for the last few months. I am 39 and fear that is not a good sign!

I want to TTC but DP wants to wait. Had a bit of a slip up on sat night and again last night; I am pretty sure I O'd yesterday because I had cramps. But v little in the way of CM this month so prob not a great environment for the sperm...

Urgh to AF arriving. It's so ridiculous that the symptoms are all the same. Sore boobs. Moody. Crampy. Spotting. Is it AF? Is it pg? Is it menopause? Who knows! That's the fun game of being a woman!!

Clacton · 13/06/2017 11:53

@Dandandandandandandan of course join us! We hope you're lucky though as I think we all need some ☘️ are you actively TTC?

@Cherylttcagain please test again and let us see! I'm so excited!!

My AF is due tomorrow and the only sign I now have is a ridiculous headache. I'm 99.99999% sure that she will be visiting at some point this week.

How are everyone else's OH coping with TTC? I know a few people have mentioned theirs not being able to finish should we say.... Mine keeps going through stages of really wanting a baby so throwing himself into TTC and then changing his mind, not to the point where he doesn't want us to have a baby but just that he isn't bothered if it happens. It's annoyed me because he is the one that originally wanted to start! But our friends have just come back from Australia and I think he just wants us all to have fun for the year they're back and doesn't want us settling down as such.

Dandandandandandandan · 13/06/2017 12:09

Clacton - you'd still be able to have fun for most of the year. 9 months is a long time Grin

DP has said we can try actively from November. But I'd like to crack on earlier as I know my body and I know my cycle is changing - at 39, I don't have all the time in the world!

Fingers crossed that some of the symptoms turn out not to be AF - she needs to learn where she isn't wanted!

McTufty · 13/06/2017 12:26

Welcome dandandan!

Got everything crossed for you cheryl!!!

Sorry to hear that kuba.

I am also feeling really depressed. Loads of whitish stretchy mucus today, what does that even mean FFS? Negative OPK, no AF, no rhyme or reason to my CM, I just have no idea what my body is doing or when it will get back to anything resembling a functioning cycle (if it even ever will Sad)

I do realise I'm only on 'cycle' one and others have been struggling much longer, I don't mean to sound insensitive moaning, just having an offload Flowers

Clacton · 13/06/2017 12:48

@McTufty that sounds like EWCM which occurs before ovulation, whereas the other ovulation checks tell you when it's happening/happened. At least that is my understanding! I'm not very good with tracking mine if I'm honest.
Don't worry about moaning - we are all in the same boat no matter how long the journey has been. I was a nightmare when I came off my implant as didn't have a period for months so thought I was broken!

@Dandandandandandandan Ha ha true, i think he means the pregnancy as that means no drinking etc and you never know how you'll be when pregnant so worst case scenario I will be a vessel for 9 months 😂
Fingers crossed for you! By November if nothing has happened you would be able to go to doctors so I'd definitely start now. What's his reasons for starting then?

LimpLettice · 13/06/2017 15:49

Fe

LimpLettice · 13/06/2017 15:54

Feeling your pain McTufty. Expected AF Friday or Saturday. Cramps, plenty of cramps, no freaking period. No idea if I have my dates right or if period after coil removal was even a real period. Sore boobs, much less nausea. I'm now wondering if I ovulated a week later than I thought coz of big amount of ewcm a weekend later which would put me at 9dpo instead of 16. Or maybe it hasn't even happened yet. Tiny bit of brown spotting this morning plus cramps.

Not sure I have the mental capacity for months of this.

DP coping fine, coz he has no idea about how much of it works and isn't symptom spotting like a nutter!

Clacton · 13/06/2017 15:59

@LimpLettice ooh you're still in the race then! Brown spotting could be implantation bleed!
I think I made a mistake by informing my OH. To be fair the way he thought it worked was hilarious....it involved glass ceilings and actual eggs 🙈

LinzLinz · 13/06/2017 16:16

Good luck to everyone still in this month... I'm definitely out, just done a test and got a BFN, but it was only cycle 1 after stopping the pill so at least I'm getting a better idea of where my cycle is at.

My DP is very keen to have a baby, he can't wait in fact and just adores all babies! He's very relaxed about it though (probably because it's not his body and isn't driving himself crazy with every twinge, ache or cramp!) it's only our first month TTC, we're hoping we get some good news soon but what will be will be! I'm 34 and he's 37 so the sooner the better really!

And welcome @Dandandandandandandan

Cherylttcagain · 13/06/2017 16:24

Haha Clacton!!

My hubby was the one suggested we try for baby number 3 before I get too old (ha!). I'm happy with that though, I loved being pregnant.

Still no AF today, hubby reckons it's just my body getting used to being off the pill. I'm still hoping for a BFP. Only time and a few tests can tell I suppose.

CM is a good indication of where you are in your cycle but tbh when I've been reading about it ladies have such different experiences then what is expected. TTC is such hard work!!

LimpLettice · 13/06/2017 16:55

SUCH hard work. I don't think I am stil in it honestly Clacton, I don;t even know if I am having a cycle. TMI alert but I had some ov type pain and a big glob of EWCM on 2nd June (recording on Flo) but a little reading (It was a proper blob) suggests that might be the effects of the IUD wearing off and a light mucus plug coming away as it did. I just want a ruddy period so I can start counting a proper cycle!

Pre coil I could read my cycle without a thought, its been 5 weeks since removal and I haven't a clue.

I'm 39 (40 v soon) Dandandan, and feeling The Fear we have left it a bit late, I'd tell your DP it will probably take til Nov anyway so why wait and reduce precious time!

Cherylttcagain · 13/06/2017 17:36

Bah! BFN just now, still no period though. I think I give up this cycle!!

Clacton · 14/06/2017 09:50

Morning all
@Cherylttcagain any signs of AF?
My AF is due today but have no signs of her arriving. Makes me wonder now whether what I thought was just spotting was my period? But it was so light I didn't even need a pad. 🤔 if no signs tomorrow I'll take another test on Friday.

Dandandandandandandan · 14/06/2017 10:48

Hello ladies! How is everyone feeling today? At least it's sunny.

DP wants to wait until November because we're trying to relocate out of a 2 bed flat and move out of London into a house with a garden. There is no logic to it if you ask me. Which he didn't. But he can't be that against it if he allowed 2 slip ups to happen in 1 week as he's never done that before. So maybe my ranting has done something.

The ticking clock sucks doesn't it? 40 just seems so difficult psychologically.

It's so frustrating when AF is late but then you get a BFN. It's like your body decides to trick you.

ButterBeanSoup · 14/06/2017 11:47

I'm out so feeling a bit miserable. Trying to be positive for next month! Where in London are you?

LimpLettice · 14/06/2017 12:18

Ffs, still cramping, few teeny spots, no AF. Trying not to obsess but it's bloody impossible. Been wearing pads for 2 days but spotting is not even enough to mark them.

Onwards Butterbean, it's the start not the end, I keep telling myself AF arriving will be positive.

Ha to DP slipping up Dandan. My DP was well, I think we should try at some point, well maybe in a few months, well, let's just get the coil out, well, are you ovulating?!

Cherylttcagain · 14/06/2017 13:25

Absolutely no signs of AF for me Clacton, I feel completely normal! Which in itself is slightly annoying!

EMHW123 · 14/06/2017 20:40

Eeek it's not over until Aunt Flo shoes ladies!!

Fingers tightly crossed.

I'm in London too (north central) also moving out in the next 6-12 months but had anticipated moving out when I was expecting.... doesn't look likely so far!

Where are you guys?

Cherylttcagain · 14/06/2017 21:14

South East here, about 25 miles from London :)
