June Bus - hoping for that elusive BFP

Hi all,
Thought I'd start the June bus as af arrived this morning. Biggest kick in the teeth as my sister baby bombed me on her first cycle this weekend and I am now on cycle 10. Trying for our first too.

Hopefully this will be our months!!!

Nooo boots sold out of frer's.. I'll have to wait until tomorrow night to test again. After the cp last month i really don't feel hopeful atall with this bfp!

So that CM dried up so must have just been a fluke so guessing I'm out this month!

However I've just been reading about how cb digitals aren't sensitive enough to pick up pregnancy before af (correct me if I'm wrong?!) but all my previous pregnancys I've used them a week before af is due and got a bfp ..so maybe I ov earlier in my cycle? (If you haven't noticed I'm clutching at straws!! )

Driving myself mad and convinced the CBFM missed my peak. Apparently this is possible according to nethuns

EWCM on Thursday. Pelvic twinges sat & sun, plus tingling boobs. Now cervix is more closed and EWCM more sticky. Still getting High readings on CBFM.

Tried to use cheap OPKs morning and evening and although the line has been more visible the last few days it isn't positive. They've never worked for me though ever.

If I ovulated on Friday I could test on the 12th. Which I will be doing obsessively from them on

Should probably add whenever I've used the digi's it's never been fmu either .. must stop driving myself mad

Bfn for me. Just tested, af due tomorrow or thurs so i think it's correct :( cannot believe it. Really starting to worry now x

Same here impatientmummy, I admitted defeat and went and bought tampons this morning in preparation. How long have you been trying?

This is only our 1st month ttc #2 but I think both me and dp hoped it would happen immediately like it did with no. 1 :(

Can I jump on this bus please? Second month of trying, but AF comes really irregularly so hard to work out OV etc 🙄

TTC #2, 4dpo. This was my first month using opk. AF is due next Friday...

Hi Mini, I'm in the same boat in that this is my first month using OPK. I got a really strong positive OPK result and egg white CM on 31st May, we DTD that day and then we did it again on the 2nd June. So I reckon I'm about 5dpo and my app says AF will happen on 14th June. I'm dying the wait feels so long. This is the first month I feel like it could happen, but not sure if we DTD enough. Good luck, I hope you get a BFP this month

Ooohhh lots due af next Friday like meeee! I'm 5dpo today. No sign of anything yet. Cycle 4 ttc #2 and also put out it didn't happen straight away like with DS. Think I'll be a bit worried if I make it to cycle 6.

Hi guys, from my cheap OPK it looks like today is ov day. I also looked at the CBFM stick lines from the last 3 days and yesterday's were equal strength which is meant to be a Peak (from my internet research!) so I think it just didn't pick it up for some reason. Possibly as I still had HCG in my system post MC when I started using the monitor, so it may have set the threshold for LH too high - so failed to "see" the surge.

This means I will be testing from 10dpo on 17th June.. & an EDD of 28 February if we are successful this cycle.

mother I'm the same, I'm not used to 'trying' for so long! Dd was around 3 months and ds was about 5 mins I'm on month 4 (5 if including chem pg ) And dh working away mom-fri puts a huge spanner in the works too! Fx we get lucky this cycle, or even next!

Ohh and to add to the delight, I'm not sure I've even ovulated at all this cycle I'm guessing 10dpo today but could be less/more , never got a pos opk this month so who knows!

Hi ladydolly, we also conceived #1 first cycle I came off pill so I thought that would happen again! On Cycle 4 of trying properly using opks, cycle 5 since came off pill... I'm 36 this time though and was 32 last time so maybe things have slowed as I'm older now...

Have you had a bfn too ? When's af due?

Grr... I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this month and that I would remain 'calm and relaxed, so calm and relaxed' (hi-fives any Wise Hippo Birthing/ hypnobirthing mums out there). Yesterday I fell asleep on the floor after my POP-pilates workout ('ooh I remember being really tired last time, I might be pregnant!') then felt really sick when I got up ('ooh, it might be morning sickness') and told DH I felt really thirsty all day yesterday so I might be pregnant. Bless him, he tried not to laugh too hard
With DS it took us 11 months to conceive, but I was told "you're more fertile after giving birth" so thought it would happen straight away when we started trying.... 4 months later.....
I'm getting impatient too slinkery - we DTD the day after I got a strong positive on the OPK (through circumstance, not choice!) so I've got a feeling we may have missed the boat, as it were.

impatient yes another bfn this morning at 12 dpo. Af due today or tomorrow (my temp was still up this morning which is why I tested). I'm 38 now so getting on a bit.

I'll hang a round a bit longer before heading off to the July board!

It's so annoying isn't it! With DS I got pregnant on cycle 2 off the pill. And now on cycle 4... we dtd 4 days before ov, 2 days before ov, day before ov and day of ov - it wouldn't be fair if I'm not pregnant!

I'm the same, conceived DS on cycle 1 last time and currently on cycle 3 although I did conceive in January after 3 cycles but unfortunately ended in MC.

Currently 7 or 8 dpo today, keep getting strange mild cramps and woke up the last couple of days feeling a little dizzy. I did say I wouldn't symptom spot this cycle as every time it ends in AF arriving. I'm going to try and not think about it although I know I will.

Ladydolly sorry you got a bfn again, I know how you feel...let me know how you're getting on in next couple of days. I know I'm not pregnant, as I'm sure the test yesterday would have picked it up if i was, but still allowing myself some hope as usual until af actually comes!.... xx

Hey ladies! Been telling myself I wouldn't symptom spot too but easier said than done! 🙈. Had loads of backache, needing a wee loads, dry mouth etc so was getting all excited to be told today I have a mild uti so attributed those to that... until I just got some brown spotting which I've never had before?! back to symptom spotting it is then

Mother same here, we did 6 times leading up to and the day after OV, 4 of those times definitely in very fertile bit, so there is no bloody justice if it didn't work, we quite literally can't do it more than that!!!!! Good luck to you ...

Serve us right for assuming it would be just as easy/fast second time round eh !- I wish I'd read these threads sooner we'd have started trying much earlier.

Keep symptom spotting it kills the time in the tww and you never know ..... xx
