FRER line getting lighter at 16DPO!? Panicking...

Hi Ladies, finally got my BFP on 11DPO after 1 year TTC #2!!!!!
I am so excited and thrilled, but also very nervous, because I had a chemical in Sept 2016 when my lines were faint to begin with and got lighter and ligther.
This time I did a test nearly every day since 11 DPO with this pregnancy, I'm now worried that my 16DPO FRER line got lighter than 13DPO :( With my first pregnancy (DS) lines were getting darker and by 16DPO they were super dark...
Today is Sunday, so can't go to a doc, but will probably go for a beta tomorrow...did anyone have this and go on to have a healthy pregnancy!????

It's painful waiting for my beta test tomorrow! I still have some hope. Took another test today....the line is exactly the same...could HCG be stuck!?

Hi Ladies, just got my second beta results, it has gone up from 71 to 106 only in 48 hours, so the doubling time is 90 hours, which obviously is bad news. I am not entirely sure what to do at this point. I have an appointment with the GP next week, but I might make a trip to early pregnancy unit to be seen earlier....

I have read the doubling time can be much longer than 48 hours and everything still be ok. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is the case for you

mariamama123 · 30/03/2017 19:54

NotWithoutMyMerkin thank you for encouragement! I actually read a bunch of success stories, so I've decided to stay positive and just take it as it comes! The numbers are going up, which is good! I'll keep you posted

Any update op?

mariamama123 · 03/04/2017 13:57

I did a 3rd round of hcg tests this morning, should have my results any minute now...I don't think it's anything good because my tests are getting lighter;((( but so far no symptoms or bleeding !

Hi ladies, so this is the end of the road for me, my HCG fell to 53 and progesterone is 6. Thank you all for your support. And I'm now very convinced that the darkness of the line on the test is very indicative of what's going on! Good luck to all of you.

So sorry, TTC is the absolute pits xxx

SpeckyB · 03/04/2017 17:02

I'm going through the same thing right now, so I feel your pain. It's so disappointing after the delight of a BFP. I wish you lots of luck and I hope your next pregnancy is more successful.

CatsCantFlyFast · 03/04/2017 21:34

So sorry OP. Take care of yourself as best you can. Hope it works out for you soon

mariamama123 · 04/04/2017 09:17

SpeckyB sorry to hear you're going through the same thing :( I can't wait for this to be over, so that I could just try again. Hoping for healthy pregnancies for the both of us
NotWithoutMyMerkin had some wine last night to drown my sorrows :( Now back to healthy living
SleepFreeZone - thank you, TTC is tough!

Hi Ladies, I can't believe I'm back here again...I managed to get pregnant again after my moscarriage in April and it appears to follow the same pattern;( I'm at 17DPO now and 15DPO beta was 87 and progesterone 88. My tests are starting to get lighter again, this breaks my heart! I'm going in for a test tomorrow, but things aren't looking good. This will be my third miscarriage ;((((

Oh Maria, I have no advice but just wanted to say how sorry I am. Thinking of you x

Justmadeperfectflapjacks · 21/05/2017 22:58

Sorry you are going through this Flowers
They should investigate now and try and give you some answers.

Then at least you know what you are dealing with before you ttc again. .
(3 chemicals in 6 months last year)
Best of luck on your journey xx

cottoncandee · 22/05/2017 07:28

@mariamama123 I am sorry you are going through this. Last month I also had MC (my 3rd one) and my tests were progressively getting darker. One was super dark that the result line was darker than control line. So I think it could be just a matter of how sensitive the test is (even from the same brand). So I'm gonna stay positive for you in the mean time Flowers

LisaSimpsonsbff · 24/05/2017 08:31

I'm so sorry, Maria - I'm in exactly the same place at the moment. Third pregnancy, first two ended at 5 weeks and this one looks to be going the same way. I got a nice line on 14dpo but today at 16dpo it's lighter. I feel so upset and desperate. I just don't understand why this is happening to me over and over again.

Viletta · 31/05/2017 20:34

@mariamama123 maybe you need hormone support? I know some ladies are prescribed Dydrogesterone if hcg drops. Talk to your doctor.. perhaps an ultrasound to see endometrium thickness and if the egg is in the uterus? Good luck!

mariamama123 · 24/10/2017 23:23

Hi Ladies, just thought I would share an update with you, it turns out that the pregnancy I wrote about in May 2017 (after 2 miscarriages in April 2017 and Sept 2016) ) was going well and I'm now 26 weeks pregnant with a little girl. The tests were getting lighter for a couple of days, but then got really dark. I kept monitoring my HCG and progesterone and had very good numbers. Thank you for all of your support, I am really looking forward to meeting my rainbow baby after all of the struggles I had TTC. Good luck to you all.
