please help me!! just did PG test ...

i posted yesterday under this name that i think i may be pregnant, i did a test and it was negative

i went back ages later and there was aline, i know it was an evaparation line (but i didnt know this when i had DS1 and retested with a diff test and got a +)

so today im feeling dogrough and sick, so i took another test and i think theres a line

its so faint - you couldnt see it at first at about 2 mins,

then i took it to my bedroom in the natural light thought i could see something, and now ive come down stairs and theres DEF something there,

and i obly did the test about 5 mins ago so i dont hink it could be an evap so quickly????

ive put it against a white piece of paper and i can see it now

it doesnt really look coloured though iykwim

MY GOD ITS DEF THERE

i feel so ill

please tell me its not right? it could be an evap right??

awful

im not in the right mind for a baby, its literally the worst month i could posibly fall, i feel ill

is there a more reliable test i could do now to see?

Do you want it to be negative? You could torture yourself trying to read it in different lights and angles. In the end I used a digital one and then you know straight away, I liked that it quite literally spelt out. Could you get one of those instead if you are really not sure.

Hope it ends up being whatever you are hoping for.

I'm afraid I don't know, but I've just quickly googled pg tests and evap lines and the info there says the line appears when the urine evaporates, which presumably could be fairly quickly. It certainly sounds like it could be an evaporation line, but the only way to know for sure (well, a more for sure!), is to wait a couple of days and test again.

Sorry this is causing you so much anxiety.

I've got the same issue at the moment, faint lines but a 'not pregnant' on a digital test. Can you buy some cheap tests from Ebay and do it again? I don't know anythign about evaporation lines but if a line appears on more than one it would probably suggest you are pg (mine has appeared on 3). Hope you are OK. DOn't panic!

Evap lines usually turn up after 10 mins. Which test was it?

hi was an 89p one from quality save

i know it was less than 10 mins

i usually pee in a tub and dip it for 15 secs but i just peed on it, so maybe thats why the line took more than 3 mins to come up because there was enough wee to make it happen quick?

DH is getting me a clearblue from the chemist on the way home

im shaking

I don't think the digital ones are better, in my experience they are less sensitive so if it was negative it could well be false. I'd wait a day or two, use first morning urine and test again. Sounds to me like it's positive though. I take it you weren't trying?

im hoping its an evap line, as it seems to be darker now, and now it is over 10 mins

ive taken pics but you cant see the line, even tho it is visable in RL do you think this means it isnt a real + but an evap line afterall?

A clearblue digital doesn't have lines, it says the words pregnant or not pregnant. However leave 4 hours between wees before trying it. Good luck.

Just to let you know the Clearblue test may not be as sensitive as the one you have used already. Hope you are ok.

dunno if theres much point as you can see it (too dark without flash - too bright to see faint line with)

look in the for sale thread under 'ignore this' and ive put a pic there

i cant do a pic on pictrail as it will have my name at the top! lol

I did one of those tests last week, on tuesday, there was a very faint line, within 2 days the line was more visable on another test.

hmmmm I think its positive

When I was TTC I did a few of those type of tests and when it was negative there was NOTHING there at all

when I was pg, I tested early and got a v v v v v v v v faint line
