CB fertility monitor pregnancy test sticks

I have the old style CB monitor, the kind that tests ovulation but not pregnancy. When I bought a pack of refill sticks, it had four pregnancy test sticks for the newer CB advanced monitor.

My question is can I use those like a standard pregnancy test? So just pee on them and look for two lines? Or are they totally useless to me (unless I fork out for a new style monitor)?

It is possible that you haven't had your peak yet. I was convinced I had missed mine this month as I usually ovulate day 15-16, then got a peak on CD18 with my last stick of the bunch of ten!

It is possible to miss it though, I had no peak the first cycle I used the monitor. I guess you could not get the stick wet for the right amount of time, or have drunk too much so your wee is diluted. Or I think that occasionally you can have a cycle where you don't ovulate.

Pingusmistress yes I was tracking using the monitor - more for making sure my cycles were starting to go back to normal. To be honest I'm still in shock. This was the first month trying/using the monitor since the mc. We conceived last time on the first go using it too. A minor miracle consider DH has below 3% morphology on his SA and I'm an over-the-hill 37.

I just really felt that on day 17 I had ovulation pain butbwith no peak it's obviously unlikely ! Guess I'll know if AF arrives on day 31

Hi ladies just looking for some hope, I’ve been trying for my second baby nearly 4 years now. I’ve not used my clear blue digital monitor for a bit now. Kinda give up hope. However I’m about 10/11 dpo & had a spare digital test. It cane up with two lines. But not sure if it’s an evap or early test. Don’t wanna get my hopes up. Will give another two days and take normal test. Any thoughts ladies. Not sure how to upload pics. Jules x

Hi girls, so I just wanna add my experience with the pregnancy tests for digital fertility monitor just in case someone else is looking for an answer. The pregnancy tests don't pick up LH hormone, but the ovulation test picks up HCG and LH because they are very similar chemically.
Anyway, so I've done a pregnancy test in the evening and couldn't test with the monitor because the window is in the morning only and I forgot. I've dipped the stick in urine and got 2 lines, one darker and one faint. I've done that before and it only showed me the test line and nothing else (I wasn't pregnant). But this time I was curious if the second line actually tells of I'm pregnant. So I repeated the test in the morning and put the stick in the monitor: BOOM! It said pregnant. The second line that was faint was now darker. Cheaper pregnancy test was done in the evening before and it didn't pick up anything. So ladies, if you've got a second line on the clear blue digital fertility monitor pregnancy stick- YOU'RE PREGNANT! Congratulations! Xx

Hey, I have been trying for a baby for 2 years and 3 months. I bought the clear blue fertility monitor to track my ovulation days. I started this on my first day of period. I have got a high on 8th April, and this is still saying high now. Its telling me to still test until Wednesday 22nd April (I'm due on then) however I have rung clear blue to discuss the above and they said take a pregnancy test Sunday & Wednesday then track your period again. However will the test pick up the pregnancy test instead of ovulation test? Any help please thank you x

I am currently using the clear blue advanced fertility monitor. I tested for pregnancy this morning and my monitor said I was not pregnant but when I looked at the stick it has a very very faint line.... I did a normal CB pregnancy test and that was negative... but I can’t get out my head that the test for the monitor had a very giant line is it possible I am testing to early? Need some hope!

I had 11 high days!! And then I peaked.

Continuing testing whenever the clear clue monitor asks you to. It also could be because you have only just started testing this month the monitor will be working out your cycle, it could be you put in the wrong amount of days your cycle is?

I've had the same happen this morning, 3 days before due period and a very faint line on the clear blue monitor pregnancy stick, I've only got a box of cheap tests and that's picking up nothing, ordered some first response pg tests which are arriving later today (praise the lord for Amazon prime) but my head is just spinning now. Looking on here for any signs of hope!

I had a second faint line on cbfm this morning but negative on every other test?!

I’m holding onto hope for this. But how do you know 100% this is accurate if there’s a second line? X

The first response pregnancy tests were negative for me and I ended up getting my period not long after so turns out you can get A faint line on the monitor preg sticks and it be nothing. Sorry, but hope it puts your minds at rest xx
