Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Af for me this morning. It's nice to have an answer at least. More days this cycle. Were a bit lax the last one. Sorry about the bfn Alexia chart looks very promising though
Jam when will you test? Skip can you put me down for Feb 26.

Pyjamas81 · 02/02/2017 08:06

Oh poo flash- sorry about AF 💐 Like you say, it's good to get a definite answer though.

That chart is looking good Alexia!

Had my PT session at the gym this morning - knackering, but feel a bit less fat ha ha.

How is it going jam?

kwick · 02/02/2017 08:12

Sorry missy Flowers

macs good news about your bro Smile

Sorry for AF flash Flowers

sk1pper · 02/02/2017 08:12

I thought you was a definite Flash, so sorry Flowers.

Alexia - may just be too early to test. Did you use a FRER? Perhaps try again at the weekend xx

Londonjam · 02/02/2017 08:31

Flash booooo ☹️ sorry lovely, I was really thinking you were BFP this time. Hope you're alright. Your cycle was a lot more normal - I hope this means you are not far off.

No news from me girls. My boobs are still sore and sensitive - more sensitive than usual but I cannot trust them or myself. I've got lower tummy pains but not cramp - yet. That's about it really. Not much to go on! I think if still not AF by Saturday I will test then. Am still absolutely bracing for AF and reminding myself it's okay and that I can try again in just a few weeks.

Missy Rodger?? 👶🏼

Hello binky 🤚

Great news about your brother macs hope he continues to improve

PT at 630 is impressive pyjamas!

Thanks gimble hope you are doing well

Claire that sounds difficult, so sorry about your mc. Hope your body and cycles settle quickly

Chart is looking good alexia LSFX!

Mrsbluebell17 · 02/02/2017 08:33

Sorry to hear that flash!

Alexia I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I only got my dark IC opk on Friday and Saturday last week and I feel really funny today but trying to tell myself it's not related. Had some funny twinges for the last couple of days too. Last month AF was there on 25th day of cycle and I'm currently on 21. So hoping it doesn't get shorter again!!!! (Previously it was 33 days then 27 days).
Testing next Thursday if no news by then as that would be 28 days - if I can hold out until then.

Have a boozy night on Friday so not sure what to do there!!

I am not enjoying the tww right now haha.

Hoping for some BFPs from you all very soon.

Mrsbluebell17 · 02/02/2017 08:37

Oh yeah and I don't know what's going on but I had the craziest, most vivid dreams last night. Unlike me to remember my dreams!! Trying not to think that again that is a symptom, as it's just so early.

passmethewine123 · 02/02/2017 10:00

Morning all!

Please can I join on to the new thread/spreadsheet?! Sorry I don't post much, generally as I don't have a lot to say but I'm always reading and sharing in everyone's excitement and disappointment.

I'm miles behind everyone in the cycle game, only CD9 here and not due to test until 23rd Shock definitely prefer the TWW to this, it's so boring waiting for FW to start.

So sorry to all of you with AF this month, onwards and upwards ladies!

FX for all of the imminent testers x

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 10:24

Oh sorry flash i was so hopeful for you.

Welcome newbies and welcome back passmethewine!

7DPO here and wow this tww is dragging! Not even any symptoms to spot. Excited for all the forthcoming testers though - hope we're about to get a flurry of bfps!

Still haven't heard back on our house offer so feel like I'm just waiting for EVERYTHING atm!

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 10:26

Aww Harriet fingers crossed or the house soon! And BFP obvs!

Thanks for the commisserations ladies. I'm feeling ok, although this is the most painful AF I've had for months, which seems a bit unfair. Although at least there's no mistaking it!

passmethewine123 · 02/02/2017 10:34

Flash my period this month was awful too and I normally have barely any pains. I did wonder if it could be possible that I'd conceived, even though it didn't show up on any tests, but it wasn't viable and that was why the period was much more painful? Confused
Just seemed so odd to have had the second worst period of my life the same month we start ttc. That's how easy my periods normally are, there's only one other time when I remember being in a considerable amount of pain!

Poppet8583 · 02/02/2017 10:40

Sorry for the AFs ladies. Fingers crossed for the next cycle!

I forgot to add my test date - 10th Feb. Although I'll be away so it's more likely to be the 11th or 12th.

Tonks87 · 02/02/2017 11:09

I've only had a day away from this thread - I can't believe there's already over 160 comments, it moves so fast!

Me and DH are away for a few days together in London so will catch up at the weekend but just dropping by to have a moan that AF arrived this morning (20 minutes after doing a test - why does doing tests always help the witch on her way!).

I was one day late which stupidly gave me hope despite my low temps. But we've got a nice few days planned so I'll pick myself back up and get ready to try again. BFP is due 28th Feb.

Pyjamas81 · 02/02/2017 11:12

I'm in the same boat as you Harriet - 7 dpo here and no symptoms. I'm taking it as a good thing - nothing to drive me crazy yet!

There's a big boozy night tonight at work bluebell - I'm going to get the first round in, get myself a non-alcoholic beer, then sneak off home!

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 11:43

Uh oh well after saying no symptoms I've just been to the loo and (SORRY TMI ALERT) there were a couple of spots of pink blood when I wiped. Obv have googled implantation bleeding but apparently it's more likely to be dark red/brown, and while implantation can happen 6-12 dpo its most likely 9+ dpo. I'm 7dpo and not due AF for another 6 days so really confused now! Guess nothing for it but to wait. Argh.

sk1pper · 02/02/2017 11:49

Pyjamas - I'm only 3dpo and those AF style twinges are getting more and more pronounced. It's too early for implantation so I'm confused by it. Maybe a side effect of the HSG, I have no idea. 3dpo and already loosing my shit, this will be the crappiest 2ww ever.

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 11:55

Oh and hello AF-style cramps as well. I think AF is coming really early. Argh.

Miranda234 · 02/02/2017 11:57

Sorry for AF flash and tonks and anyone else who has had the witch visit Flowers

Still got everything crossed for you jam and alexia and anyone else waiting

I'm still laughing at the dog typo pyjamas 😂

Can't believe you are still waiting to hear about the house harriet! Hope you hear something soon

Glad to hear your brother is out of IC macs must be a huge relief

Can any of you lovely ladies help - is this opk positive or not quite yet? I'm still not sure what positive looks like Grin

Thread 25. TTC #1 - February Fertility Fighters on the FRONTLINE
Pyjamas81 · 02/02/2017 12:03

Aaaargh Harriet! How long is your luteal phase usually?

And how very odd skipper - could be due to the HSG. It was probably quite a shock to the system!

Everyone is talking about how much champagne is going to be consumed tonight - waaaaaaah. I've promised DH I wouldn't, and after last week am keeping to my word!

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 12:06

pyjamas it used to be 11/12 days but I started taking Vit B complex which has pushed it up to 12/13. It's never been anywhere near 7 in the last 2 years of tracking it.

Having done more googling it seems it is possible it's IB after all, but no way of definitively knowing for few days unless AF comes out in force before then.

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 12:07

Ps miranda that looks positive to me

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 12:19

I'd call that positive Miranda.

Sorry to hear about AF Tonks.

Harriet I though IB was usually pink/brown but unlikely to be red so don't give up hope.

pass sorry your AF is crappy too. It could be that, or maybe just that your hormones did a really good job of getting everything ready in case of pregnancy, which is a good sign, as when it does happen, your body will be ready.

Skip hugs. You can do it. I managed to entirely convince myself I was pregnant so no mad is too mad for here.

passmethewine123 · 02/02/2017 12:22

Flash you're probably right there, considering we didn't DTD at the right time the chances that I'd caught were slim to none but we can't help letting ourselves believe can we Wink hope you're right about hormones and that when the times comes it will all work as it should!

Londonjam · 02/02/2017 12:33

Sorry tonks hope you are okay. I know exactly what you mean about POAS and AF. I swear if I looked at a FRER right now my period would start.

Miranda that's positive, get to it!

harriet cramps and spotting at 7 DPO would definitely make me think implantation. Fx for you.

Pugmummy87 · 02/02/2017 13:08

Well FF has confirmed ovulation! Still waiting on my ovusense sensor to confirm it, probably another day or two of high temps and it will.
What do you think alexia?
Also nipple feel sore today which is a sure sign there is an increasing amount of progesterone as I always get sore nipple in the tww.

Better get on with eating that pineapple!

alexia sorry about bfn but maybe it's just a bit early yet. Your temps look really good.

flash and tonks so sorry about af Flowers

london keeping everything crossed for you.

Glad to hear your brother is out of ITU now macs what great news!
