Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Thank you for all your lovely messages! Smile I just can't believe it!

Mac, stats are:
Age - 33
TTC - #1
Cycle - 1(!)

Smitten, sorry it hasn't been your month. FX for next month!

Definitely had some symptoms - was absolutely starving (craving sugar) and was very bloated (I sometimes get IBS so wasn't sure that this was symptom at first); had a short wave of nausea one day and a few nights of headaches before going to bed; some slight movement going on in lower tummy; boobs only sore if I prod them but are definitely a little fuller (usually an A-cup so it's quite noticeable to me!); slight metallic taste in mouth and bleeding gums.

Hope that the list is helpful, and I shall definitely keep an eye out for lots of BFP's appearing on this thread!

MissyJones80s · 05/02/2017 10:56

Sorry binky Flowers hope you're pains ease up soon. You sound like your AF mirrors mine this month what with a cold and everything xx

Miranda234 · 05/02/2017 10:56

Wow starfish cycle 1! That's amazing!!

Sorry for AF binky, I hope the pain goes quickly for you Flowers

Londonjam · 05/02/2017 11:12

Sorry binky ☹️** period pains are insult to injury aren't they. Hope you're okay , better luck next cycle

Miranda I think I would feel the same way too.

Another beer fan here and I've never heard of Nanny State so will have to give this a go

Congratulations starfish!

harrietm87 · 05/02/2017 11:22

Yay star congrats!

I did a FRER this morning, 10dpo. BFN! Gutted as I had pretty much convinced myself would be bfp - still bit nauseous (although much better) and cramping. I guess AF must just be on her way! Not due til wed but maybe will be early this month.

Onwards and upwards though. Good news is we got the house! So will have a daunting amount of work to do - at least will have more time to do it before baby now!

MissyJones80s · 05/02/2017 11:34

harriet Flowers for the BFN don't rule yourself out just let it ain't over till the nog fat AF lady sings... on the house though whoop congrats and good with your PMA about more time to do house up now. We are the same each time I get BFN or AF comes knocking I'm like oh well at least we have more time to get the downstairs loo sorted etc lol

MissyJones80s · 05/02/2017 11:36

Blush that definitely meant to say big fat lady not nog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sk1pper · 05/02/2017 11:43

Binky - sorry about AF, I hate it when it's painful. It's like your body is punishing you...as if a BFN isn't punishment enough!! Take things easy and do something you enjoy today, even if that is something small like eating something you enjoy.

Harriet - great news about your house, so exciting!!

kwick · 05/02/2017 11:58

sk1pper I heard from MouseLove who is not doing so great - can you take her off the grads list please? Thanks.

sk1pper · 05/02/2017 12:19

Of course Kwick - poor Mouse...

Binkybunny13 · 05/02/2017 12:26

Thanks girls- feeling blue, sick and sore so just wallowing today! (Need to get a grip) On I go to cycle 7, next test date I'm guessing as 12th march (god how depressing)

Excellent news re: house Harriet! Yay!

Pyjamas81 · 05/02/2017 12:33

Mouse - huge hugs to you if you see this, you're in my thoughts xx

Harriet - sorry about BFN 🙁 It's still early though so I still have hope for you. Amazing news about the house though!

10dpo here (although I suspect 11dpo) and still not one single symptom. I've been in the best mood ever, even DH said "who is this new wife? I like her!" - maybe it's the lack of booze running through my veins! Just had another PT session at the gym and even my trainer said I was full of beans ☺️

Kathrino · 05/02/2017 12:38

So sorry for AF Binky, especially when it's one of those extra painful ones. As if it arriving in the first place wasn't bad enough!

Good news about the house harriet, how exciting! I'm sorry that today was a BFN though as Missy says, you're not out yet and it's still early days.

Sending lots of good thoughts to Mouse Flowers

I am also feeling rather sorry for myself today. Had a really upset stomach last night for no apparent reason and didn't sleep at all well so feeling totally drained today. We had planned to go shopping and get lunch out but I think it may end up being a sofa day instead.

Binkybunny13 · 05/02/2017 12:44

Harriet sorry I missed the BFN- def not out yet though, fx for you

Sorry you're feeling bleurgh kathrino 💐

Londonjam · 05/02/2017 13:02

Thinking of you mouse 🌺🌸🌷🌹

Congrats on the house Harriet that's great news

Kath I'm exactly the same today, I feel drained and nauseous and am wrapped in a blanket on the sofa with the cat watching friends. Still very weepy too, when I was so determined to stay positive! ☹️ I'm sure tomorrow will be better

Glad to hear you are feeling good pyjamas!

Spud90 · 05/02/2017 13:47

AF showed up yesterday so here goes cycle 2 cd2. I feel awkward about being disappointed and upset when it was only our first cycle and there's people on their 10th but I had got my hopes up and was convinced I was pregnant. Really annoyed at myself and spent a stupid amount on tests.

Oh well. Treating myself to a bottle of wine and ice cream.

Pyjamas81 · 05/02/2017 13:58

Sorry about AF spud 💐 But don't feel bad about getting your hopes up! I got my hopes up so much in my first cycle that I convinced myself I was feeling sick! Nausea mysteriously disappeared as soon as I got BFN...

Enjoy your 🍷 and 🍦🙂🙂

starfish, I had forgotten you were cycle 1 (me too) -- that's so great, I hope I'll be bringing up the rear before long. FX/baby dust to everyone waiting for the next FW, and all around!

88claire · 05/02/2017 14:14

Can I be added please?! Due on the 28th Feb (really clinging onto the back of this bus!)

Thankyou!

88claire · 05/02/2017 14:15

Whoops wrong thread! But I am still TTC no.1 Smile

Londonjam · 05/02/2017 14:20

Spud I utterly convinced myself I was pregnant on the first few cycles - it's easily done. Hope you're not waiting long, most people conceive within a year

Skipper can you add me on 4 March please?

sk1pper · 05/02/2017 14:24

Hope you're okay Jam - I'm having a duvet day too but I'm not feeling low, just being incredibly lazy this weekend. Do you think you might have a HSG done?

Londonjam · 05/02/2017 14:33

I think I've got a bug skip I'm feeling totally wiped out and so sick! No appetite at all.

I'm pretty low too to be honest. I know I'll bounce back, but I've got into a bit of a pattern of thinking it will never happen when my period comes, and start googling low morphology and IVF over and over.

I'm going to try to wait for our appointment on the 2 March and ask them about an HSG. I'm also going to ask about further semen tests as we just don't have enough information with the standard tests. Did you discuss clomid with yours?

sk1pper · 05/02/2017 14:46

Jam - Google is a blessing and a curse, we're all guilty of using it when we're worrying about things. Unfortunately, you're never going to find the answers you seek on there, what we really need are crystal balls at this stage. A further semen test is a very good idea, also ask them to estimate how long they think it might take you naturally with the low morphology in mind. I don't think a HSG is out of the question for you, because it will just give you 2 or 3 cycles of squeaky clean f-tubes...which might be enough to tip the balance. I didn't discuss clomid because my ovulation is like clockwork...there seems to be some deeper issue.
