Ladies,

I am going mad with this.

Been trying for a year now. I'm very lucky to have a DD.

Decided to test early. Got the attached tests- both the same sensitivity.

Clearblue has come up with a faint positive within the correct time scale. I have had false positives with these before BUT with the false positive it would only show positive AFTER the recommended time scale.

Anyway, cheapy test- same urine sample, negative.

I never thought trying to get pregnant would take over my life like this :(

When is af due?
Cheap tests have always been negative for me until I'm at least a day late.
Clear blue picks up the hcg much earlier, but that means it detects chemical pregnancies, so it picks up that an egg has been fertilised but it may not have implanted. I've had a positive in the morning and af start in the afternoon before.
So the answer is you're pregnant- congrats- but I wouldn't get too excited until you're late, and the cheap test agrees.
Best wishes for a sticky baby.

Your grey pic looks positive. 😊

Thank you Jodie1982, I really hope so! The line came up really quickly but I know how dodgy clear blue tests can be x

It's definitely a positive, so really, really hope this is it for you.
But you've tested so early! You can't really be physically pregnant until your luteal phase is complete, when af is due. The fertilised egg implants, multiplies, and the heart starts beating around the time you notice your period is late. You're not really any more pregnant yet than someone who's had a fertilised embryo transferred during IVF. Try to think of it more as 'stage 1 of 2 complete' until next week.
I don't mean to put a damper on it, I just know that disappointment so well, and I worry for you testing so early. Fingers firmly crossed here Smile
