Re-using Clearblue ovulation test reader for new cycle?

Just a quick question about something I'm unsure about: last cycle I bought a 20-pack of Clearblue digital ovulation tests (the dual hormone kind). I got a static smiley after 7 days, so still have 13 tests left. Didn't conceive, so want to test for ovulation again this cycle. Can I reuse the digital reader? I'm worried that its batteries might run out, which if it happened at the wrong time (say while I was getting flashing smileys) would make all the testing completely pointless! Have other people successfully used it for two cycles, or is this a false economy?!

I'm in the same situation and hope I can re-use. The leaflet said start on cd7 and stop at peak so most people will use less than 10 per cycle.

I have just reused them for second cycle, no issues. Had my circle, 5 days of flashing smilies and a static which lasted the whole 48 hours.
I now have 2 sticks left over which are no use but I can pee on them for fun Wink

I've used one for three cycles without a problem.

I've never heard of this,
So does this tell you basically when to "do it"

Yes Good. It tells you days with high and peak fertility based on oestrogen and LH levels. So we started dtd on the first high day. I don't know how it measures oestrogen as I could only see the 2 lines for the LH surge...

I've used for 2/3 cycles before, it's fine.
