Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

kwick · 26/01/2017 10:14

Thank you angel

Hope you viroids do not mind my copy paste:
Jesus Mary and Joseph! That was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. Thank God there was good news at end.

 • scanner was silent for a long while then said she could see 2 egg sacs
 • silent for another while, said very hard to see due to my retro something uterus
 • I started crying from the stress
 • had to get dressed to go to another scan room
 • lots of silence then confirmation only one sac, what they thought was a fetal pole and heartbeat
 • told to go empty my bladder (seriously it filled up in 20 minutes!)
 • scanned again - all good news confirmed, more crying
 • told to rescan in 2 weeks
 • lots more crying
I am exhausted... glad that I have a busy work day to get through.
ChatEnOeuf · 26/01/2017 12:29

That sounds excellent - despite the stressful, roundabout way it occurred! Hope the next two weeks go quickly :)

angelazul · 26/01/2017 13:21

justtheonethen · 26/01/2017 17:51

De lurking to say hurrah kwick

NoHayMasQueHoy · 26/01/2017 17:51

Congratulations kwick! Excellent news, and today you really are pregnant Grin

AF got me tuesday, at 11 or 12dpo. I'm not really surprised, both previous pregnancies took about 6months of trying, but I harbour a little fantasy each time of a bfp the first month!

I had some crazy symptoms though, including nausea and huge boobs, just goes to show there is not much point symptom spotting.

SofiePendragon · 26/01/2017 18:17

Yay kwick! So glad it was good news in the end!

Sorry about AF NoHay Flowers I always find myself symptom spotting and feeling a bit disappointed when Af arrives too

kwick · 26/01/2017 20:50

Lo siento mucho nohay Flowers

just!!!!! I think about you all the time and send positive thoughts your way. I hope you are doing well my lovely.

justtheonethen · 26/01/2017 20:56

Ah that's so sweet! I'm ok. Struggling with it all a bit but sending you all good vibes.

LucyLugosi · 26/01/2017 21:12

Yay kwick!!

I'm feeling extremely premenstrual. If no AF by Saturday will test....but pretty sure I'm out.

DP and I were shagging like made at the start of the month, then after we thought I'd iced we kind of trailed off with tiredness and life. Have to get back in the saddle after AF.

coribeth · 26/01/2017 21:28

Hey Kwick was thinking about you today and sending positive vibes your way glad to hear they worked! Grin
So df and I made initial enquiries into adoption yesterday which means I now have to put all pennies and efforts into sorting house but guessing it'll take a little while! Hmm

kwick · 27/01/2017 06:47

Thanks cori Grin
Adoption sounds exciting!! Let us know how you get on!

Lalalalalaa · 27/01/2017 07:31

Hello everyone!

I'm so crap, I'm so sorry. I just don't get a chance to post between work and DS :( I'm thinking of you all though and kwick I'm so delighted for you ❤

DS ill again and not sleeping Sad

Here are my stats, I fell off the Fred:

Name: La
Age: 36
DC: DS 18 months
TTC: 8 months

I'm either on 5dpo or 7dpo. Not massively sure as been taking B Complex for short lp and I think it's kicked in so I may have iced earlier.

Brain weasels are bad just now due to the number of pregnancy announcements. Lots of people having second babies in my group of mum friends.

Will try to keep up, sorry guys

cookielove · 27/01/2017 21:00

kwick I am so happy for you :)

This is the month we ttc! eek

ScottishLady7 · 28/01/2017 23:40
