Hi ladies.
so due to finish my final pill pack in 2 weeks and just wanted to hear from people who came off the same pill.
How were your moods? Did your sex drive change? And obviously the big one how long until you conceived.
I know everyone's different but I just don't know what to expect :)

I stopped Cerazette after Christmas, had a period in January, got pregnant in February. A bit a shock, I was assuming it'd take at least 6 months for periods etc to settle. Hormones are mysterious things!

dangle90 · 26/11/2016 10:27

Thanks for replying to my post everyone :)
Gosh user and sticky you didn't have to wait long did you bet that was a nice surprise! I hate the unknown, I was thinking the same too that there might be a backlog of af up there haha glad to hear it shouldn't be like that x

I came off it August 2015, no withdrawal bleed but cycles settled to between 29 and 33 days straight away. Still no BFP but that is likely to be due to other factors.

UnlikelyRunner · 26/11/2016 16:14

Phew. Relieved to hear that no one's had mega-bleeds after stopping.

aaaaaargh · 27/11/2016 08:38

Before I had my you gest son I was off cerazette for 5 weeks when I had 2 days of spotting and was preg a few weeks later! This year I came off it end of July, had a period 8th August and found d out I was pregnant weeks later, sadly it wasn't a good outcome (not due to coming off pill) and I'm currently ttc again! Tho be mindful that coming off cerazette can give you pregnancy symptoms for a few months when period is due!!

OvariesForgotHerPassword · 27/11/2016 08:42

I didn't so much come off it as forget to take it... my sex drive improved, moods did too. Oh, and I conceived straight away. literally the day I forgot to take it Grin

dangle90 · 27/11/2016 08:53

That's crazy after just one day ovaries!
Interesting to hear all of your stories, I'll have to keep you all updated with how I get on! X

I had terrible headaches and dizziness the first 2 months. My cycles started off a bit long but settled after a couple of months. It took me 5 months to conceive.

Hi ,I am new to all of this. I have been on cerezette since 2003, my doctor changed my pill 2years ago to Cerelle. I have not had a period since 2003. I took my last pill on 23.10 and still no sign of withdrawal or monthly period. I have had sore boobs and a bit of bloating but no sign of monthly cycle! Me and my partner are TTC and all I seem to read is horror stories! Anyone had any positive stories when coming off this pill Smile

dangle90 · 08/12/2016 16:37

My last pill is today so I will keep you posted! Sorry I can't be much more help. Good luck

Dannii unfortunately it's pretty normal to have a weirdly long first (and subsequent) cycles off the pill. My first was 50 days and then 23 days. It's frustrating. It's annoying and I can't begin to think how upset you are at a 2 month cycle. I cried happy happy tears when I finally got my period. I tested only once at CD36 but I kinda knew I wasn't pregnant. FX AF comes soon for you. X

Dannii42 · 08/12/2016 19:36

Thanks Mousehole, do I sit and wait or shall I go to the doctors after 3 months or something? Finding it really frustrating now as we are not getting any younger and I really hoped I would be one of the lucky ones who had my cycle back to normal. X

MouseLove · 08/12/2016 20:44

Does today make CD46? (I'm great at counting) also mousehole omg I'm laughing so hard. Wink

I would think anything over 80 days would be cause for concern. I have every faith that you'll get AF soon. Relaxing reaaaaalllly helps. So lots of nice long baths and some exercise. I remember being really bloated and uncomfortable but that all went with the first AF. X

Dannii42 · 08/12/2016 21:20

Lol!!! Sorry Mouselove!!! It's been a long day! Yeah that is correct. Hopefully it comes soon! I am very much into my fitness going to the gym 5 times a week. I'll try the baths and see if that helps me! I'll keep you posted x

dangle90 · 20/12/2016 09:16
