Hi.
This is a bit long winded - sorry.
I started charting my temps on 17th Jan.
The 1st 10 days ranged between about 36.05 degrees C & 36.25 degrees C.
I then went on a last minute holiday, involving a transatlantic flight, and my temps for that week were a bit haywire - most roughly 36.35 degrees, with some higher due to disturbed nights.
I was due to ovulate when I was away (about day 14 /15 of cycle), and got definite physical signs (lots of EWCM & a higher cervical position)but I did not observe a big temp shift. I got a peak on day 16 of 36.55 degrees, but not a sustained rise over the following days.
Due to early morning travel & being stuck in an airport for several hours, I was unable to take my temp on cycle day 17 or 18.
Now that I'm back home, my daily temp is about 36.30 degrees C, which is higher than it was at the beginning of my cycle before I went away.
I'm unsure if I have actually ovulated this cycle. Can anyone advise please?
Is a temp difference of 36.25 at the beginning of the cycle & 36.30 after ovulation (hopefully) an indication that ovulation has actually occurred?
Can travelling cock up your temperatures?
Thanks in advance.
