TWW - could do with some company

Hi all. Just starting my 11th tww. According to Ovia I have 11 days until I should POAS. I'll add my stats below, but basically I could just do with a bit of company and support this cycle, as the ttc is starting to get me down (I've had one miscarriage at 8wks back in January, but nothing postive since ). I would love to conceive this cycle as its my two year anniversary in October and it would be lovely to surprise my DH with some good news Thanks

Peak OPK on CD 14, so testing on 28th sept according to Ovua

The days before tests are only 42 or something percent accurate though. Doesn't stop me plowing through a three pack of those and about 20 cheapy ones every month.

Also, I find the cheap tests can be wrong even a few days after your period is due. The hcg needed to work them can take a while to build.

I'm all good thanks Moonlight, random allergic reaction (hives) on my hands today... I'm not googling 'allergic reaction ttc'... honest ! Lol, I really am terrible!! I've used the super cheap tests, but must admit I blow thru them too quickly, so now I force myself to use a clearblue two pack (rationed to one pack a month) and for that price I know I can't just use them on every wee, lol!

I think the clearblue digi ones say 87% accurate - but not sure how true that is, lol!

I think it's 40 something 5 days before and each day closer they get more accurate.

The worst for me is that bang on 9-10 days after ovulation I get early period spotting but EVERY TIME CONVINCE convince myself it's implantation bleeding.

Dh found 8 tests from one day in the bin this month and that's when he insisted on booking an appointment. If I did need ivf maybe I'd just move back to the UK.

Would actually be nice to get something for the shitload of tax I've paid over the years!

Ooh minnie what did it say?! Last time I got my BFP I had my hair coloured as usual the day before and it was REALLY itchy. I thought it was weird and the next day when I tested I thought oh I wonder if that's why. The things we try and spot when ttc 😂

This is my first month buying cheapies so I think I'll be a nightmare, I was the same before using cb digitals so that out me off testing too early to poa5er!

Oh yes, I always spot a couple of days before my period and try and convince myself that it's just a late (sometimes very late) implant bled. I swear ttc makes us all a little crazy at times bummymummy .

A lot of the google results were about taking allergy meds during ttc, rather than coming out in hives being sign - but you never know! During my first pregnancy I was really ill at 12dpo, then had really bad indigestion / trapped winds until I did a (positive) hpt at 14dpo but otherwise I'm not sure I was having any earlier symptoms, although it was the Christmas holidays, so I wasn't really paying attention.

Oooo you're going to get addicted to testing with those cheapies Moonlight, but sometimes doing something proactive is better than just playing the waiting game. Like every month I'm just hoping we catch some luck this month - only 4 more days

7dpo for me! How are all you ladies doing?

Im at 12 dpo (i think) and getting out of control thinking about it. BFN today (i caved). My nipples are still sore and thats been going all week. I decided i was nauseous but i think thats out of nerves pmsl. No other symptoms except for cramping today which feels annoyingly life af on her way will not test again now until Sunday, assuming af isnt here by then.

I think I'm 13 DPO but not really sure!

Pretty convinced nothing will happen this month, it's only the 2nd cycle after the miscarriage.

The last few weeks I have been more aware/informed of my cycyles than ever before in my life!

We have never really ttc in the past (apart me stopping the pill)- now I'm pissing on opks, taking my temperature daily & pondering my cervical mucus!

Have a sinking feeling that this is not going be to quick like the offers, simply because we are ttc and I'm putting lots of thought into it.

Maybe we should just go back to not thinking about it...but I know I can't do that, after the recent mmc and the fact I'm 38, I can feel the rising panic within me!

turquoise I know how you feel hun. I was relaxed first 2 cycles off the pill just dtd regularly and it happened straight away but since the mc I've become a lot more crazed! Just can't wait to be pg again. Also so scared though. I'm scared of testing again incase it is a BFP and all the stress and anxiety after what happened before. Fx for you that it does happen quickly.

9dpo today.... getting there slowly! I sore boobs yesterday which is unusual for me but trying not to read anything in to it as surely 8 days would be far too early for symptoms anyway! My temps are looking good though, still rising! This is my first month bbt so even if it is bfn it'll be good to know my lp and have something to compare next time.

Well 12dpo might be early if you implanted late! You're not out til af arrives! Fingers crossed for Sunday

Whoops, was meant to send that yesterday to EJ! Darn app. I'm all good, 8dpo - i think the MC had the same effect on me, all I wanted was to get preggers straight away, but my body is taking its sweet ass time. Oh well, this month is prob my best chance yet, just by my DH actually being here to dtd on ov (the last few months we've had to dtd in the days leading up as he's been away with for work so much). Good luck Turquoise, there are so many people who say they have no symptoms with dpo, and remember, you have exactly the same chance as every other month x

How are you doing minnie? I caved yesterday (completely crazy at 9dpo!) and got a faint positive! I'm going to wait a few more days and test again with FMU probably Tuesday or even Wednesday if I can hold out til then as I know it's still very early days. Fx for your BFP and we will be due date buddies! I just really hope this one sticks.

OMG Moonlight! Congratulations, that's amazing news! I bet you must be over the moon . It's so lovely to hear some good news on the ttc front, plus apparently if you conceive within 6 months of mc some say there is a lower chance of a second MC :) x

Hi everyone! 9dpo for me, I'm getting my usual twinges which I seem to get every month plus slightly achey boobs. It's funny, before I was ttc I would have said the only time I had any twinges etc were during my period, I obviously never noticed how much you feel a throughout the cycle too (I get this every month, so I'm not getting my hopes up ... more than usual). Are you peeing your way through your cheapies Moonlight? I would be using one every chance I get, esp with a faint positive, lol! X

I'm getting twinges today minnie, really hoping its because thing are going on in there as they should rather than bad news. Trying not worry too much as the stress isn't good but it's hard not to be anxious after a mc. I don't think I'll relax until past 12 weeks really.

I've retested a few times lol, got bfp on clearblue too so that's a good sign :)

Can I join?! I feel a bit silly- had my Mirena removed on Wed 21/09/16. I had an internal scan at removal which said I was ovulating at that time so said "what the hell, no time like the present" as the doc said there's no issues with trying straight away. We DTD 2 days before removal and on the Wed. I've all the symptoms but assuming this is from the removal. Really just a waiting game to confirm I'm not pregnant! Going mad though (left work today at lunch time to buy a test...6DPO!!) so could use the company!

Wow Moonlight! The 1-2 was st 10dpo ... that must be a strong positive! I'm keeping my fingers crossed this is a good omen for the rest of us the thread x

Hi Ru, all welcome. Only a few more days before you can poas! Ttc (for me) has been a monthly rollercoaster, so welcome - hopefully you get your bfp quickly and can avoid the madness, lol x

I know! I actually feel a bit ridiculous! The chances of falling pregnant the day I got my coil removed are so slim and then I'm terrified in case I am pregnant and my body isn't ready to house an egg yet. I dread to think how I'll be if I'm at this a few months
TTC #2 so looking out for familiar symptoms but the hormone withdrawal symptoms are so similar Men have it easy, OH hasn't a care in the world lol

11dpo, poas this morning (hoping for some of moonlights good fortune to rub off ), but a bfn. It was a digital cb test though (and I had a midnight pee), so I'll keep my fingers crossed and test in two days - looks like I'll be packing some pee sticks in my luggage, lol!! X

Still early days- particularly for the digital test! Fingers crossed for the next few days!x
