Trying not to get my hopes up…

DH and I have been trying for a baby for a while with no luck so far. This month we DTD around ovulation and I'm now a day late. Last week I had mild cramping and lightheadedness and this week I'm horribly constipated and crying at the drop of a hat. My patience also seems a bit thinner than normal. I'm too scared to test in case I'm disappointed again. I think I'll give it a few days and if AF doesn't show I'll POAS. In the meantime, has any experienced similar and got a BFP??

Good luck OP! I only just started ttc and I'm already restless one week in, I've definitely not been myself but then I think I might have imagined it.

Thanks for the tip about first response, I'll keep my clear blue till after (hopefully) my bfp.

So at the risk of over sharing… I keep feeling a weird blobbing sensation in my fanjo, like when AF starts but there's no blood and when I wipe I have orange/yellowish cm. Not sure if this is totally unrelated or whether it's a good sign. I also feel like at 18dpo I should be getting a BFP by now if I'm pregnant so feeling a little sad

Aw don't feel sad OP. Positive thoughts. Btw there's no such thing as oversharing on a conception thread imo Sorry I can't offer any advice on the cm front...

Meanwhile I'm peeing like a racehorse, my hair is greasy and my boobs hurt like fuck. I'm horrendous at tracking my cycle but so tempted to test anyway

I'm on CD31 too lousy! Still no BFP and still no AF.

Hang in there cakes! It's can't be much longer before we all find out, surely!! X

Hey lousy I have never had such oily hair, even as a teenager lol. I'm really tired with light-headedness and headaches too. Aaaaargh.

It's positive that your last pregnancies were like your symptoms now.

I'm not sure what to think because when I had a mc a couple of years ago I didn't realise that I was even pg and was feeling on top of the bloody world

cakes I am sooooo tempted but this is my first cycle ttc and it would just be too good to be true...

Hence why I'm trying to talk myself down.... but I can't help but wonder!!

I've had 2 mc (13 and 9 yrs ago) both really early on (5 weeks). Still sad at the time, although they are actually very common and often nature's way when things aren't right.
Anyway FX for us all that we get BFP soon. I guess I am lucky to have 3 kids. My dp and I would love 1 or 2 together though. Getting broody now!

Yes, I see it that way too, something wasn't right.

I'm really not feeling myself tonight. Reflux and boobs so sore that I could actually cry I'm probably being ott and emotional because dh is away and whether it's a bfp or af on the way my hormones are all over show

Lower back is killing me this morning which is usually a sign of AF for me so feeling a bit low.

Still holding on to a bit of hope, it's not over till the fat lady sings, right!?

Either af has showed up early or I have implantation bleeding

TMI: the colour or flow didn't look like af tbh but we only just started trying 9 or 10 days ago so I'm telling myself that it's af putting in an early appearance

AF has just turned up. A part of me is trying to convince myself that it's just a little blood and it'll stop and then I'll get a BFP but the sensible part knows I'm out
I've never had such a long cycle before! Sod's law!

It's horrible when your body plays tricks on you.

My bleed this morning was really light and quick but now I'm cramping a bit so I don't know if it's af or implantation. If it's af then I've never had such a short cycle before so we're in similar boats

Tested again today and got a BFN. A bit gutted as this month really would have been perfect timing for me.

My cycles have been so wonky until recently so I'm hoping this isn't it freaking out on me again

Not wanting to give you false hope but I was convinced I was pregnant, took a test got a bfn. AF started a couple of days later and I had a 10 day bleed that was slightly unusual but not so much that I thought anything of it. The day AF was due the month after, I threw up. Took a test, BFP!

Few weeks later I go for a scan at what I thought would be nearly 8 weeks... Nope, turned out I was 11 weeks after all! So it is possible to get a bfn and 'AF' and still be pregnant, but I doubt it happens often.

Good luck though it will happen eventually
