line on superdrug early pregnancy test

Hi I think AF is due tomorrow but took a superdrug test today as have been feeling sick on and off all day. (I know this could be completely unrelated) the instructions said to read the test within 3 minutes but after 4ish minutes a faint line started to appear. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this? It was dipped for the correct amount of time ect and this didn't happen to the one I took 2 days ago (same brand). Should I just dismiss it? I only have 2 digital tests left now , which aren't as sensitive and no chance of getting any more for a few days. I'll try and attach some pictures.

I think I can see a line.

choccybiscuit · 04/07/2016 21:15

I can still see lines on both asda tests!

I can still see lines on both asda tests!

The pictures aren't very clear. Sorry.

How likely is it that I'm having a chemical pregnancy? The clear blue is really strong but the asda ones are so faint. I'm so worried. Sad

They all look like positives to me. Fingers crossed the lines keep getting darker.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 04/07/2016 22:20

I'm going to take another as soon as I wake up.

I was always told most inaccurate results are false negatives as the tests detect Hcg so false positives are less likely!

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 04/07/2016 22:26

I'm just worried that the lines are getting fainter. Everything I've read online says its sign of a chemical pregnancy. Sorry I know I'm going on a bit. Just so worried.

Took a test with fmu and the line was so faint that it won't even show up on a picture. I'm so sad. Sad

When tests are negative there is no second line at all! Not even a light blury line! You'd see nothing! The chances are you are pregnant OP! Go to a walk in family planning centre or book a GP appointment and ask them to test & confirm!

tillyann2013 · 05/07/2016 06:52

Can't you get a blood test at all? Fingers crossed for you X

elodie2000 · 05/07/2016 06:56

It could be that you are in the very early stages of pregnancy, light lines don't automatically mean a chemical pregnancy.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 05/07/2016 07:11

I know light lines = pregnant but my lines were quite dark and now they are getting lighter even using the same brand.

Last night I took the asda tests in the picture above but the (same brand) test I took today with fmu was a lot lighter and won't even show on a picture.

Im going to make a doctors appointment today but could be waiting ages. Do you think I could ring the midwife led unit? They do all the pregnancy appointments from booking in.

Thank you for the replies. If I've come across rude, I really don't mean to be. I'm just worried. DH is being a bit rubbish.

I'd go to a drop in family planning clinic. They'll test for you. Good luck.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 05/07/2016 07:26

I don't have one nearby. I live in a little village and I don't drive plus I have to go to work today.

To be honest, the tests used at a GP or midwife unit are the same as the ones you get over the counter. Be prepared for them to suggest you wait and test again in a few days. Hard though.

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 05/07/2016 07:57

Do you think it's pointless to make an appointment? Should I just wait a few days until something happens?

I found asda tests rubbish, bfn on them two days after bfp on Frer

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 05/07/2016 08:04

Oh really? I don't know if I'm pleased to read that or not. I don't want to get my hopes up again.

Sorry that sounded rude. I didn't mean to be. Thank you for replying.

Try a sainsburys one. I've always used them.

Afreshstartplease · 05/07/2016 08:21

You didn't sound rude just frustrated which I totally get!

CinderellaFant · 05/07/2016 08:22

A positive is a positive no matter how faint!

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 05/07/2016 12:00

Thanks for understanding. Really struggling to concentrate at work today.

Took another test once I got home. I haven't had much to drink today and the line was as strong as the one I took yesterday so I feel a little bit more hopefully. Sorry about all the messages I keep posting on here. I don't have anyone to talk to in to RL so it's good to get write my thoughts here.
