Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats Grin

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs Grin

Congratulations Fran Smile

Poppy (this is a bit graphic!) I remember reading that although similar to look at, if you move your fingers apart EWCM will stretch between your fingers, however leftover semen will break and not stretch like EWCM.

everdene · 05/07/2016 08:28

Was just going to write the same as Scandi! Leftover sex juice isn't stretchy!

I got AF this morning; Ho hum.

I am overdue a smear so at least now I'll have time to get it!

Congrats for the BFP Fran!

Wibblewobble100 · 05/07/2016 08:38

Cd 28, 12 DPO, bfn of FRER this morning so I guess I'm out.... I'm gutted... That's 6 cycles and there's really nothing more I can do to make it happen if it just won't. DS keeps talking about wanting a baby and it breaks my heart... I know 6 months isn't that long really, but we conceived him first time and now I just keep thinking about the ever increasing age gap. I'm afraid it'll never happen and there'll be no help as we already have one DS. Plus added stress is my work contract finishes in Feb, and unless I'm 29 weeks by then I don't get mat pay... So now I'm going to have to look for and perhaps start a new job while heavily pregnant ( NHS so what matters is continuity of service even if it's different roles / health boards)🙁

Wibblewobble100 · 05/07/2016 08:40

That should say hopefully heavily pregnant....
Congrats to others with bfps

MrsGsnow18 · 05/07/2016 09:06

Congrats Fran!
wibble that sounds like it would be stressful! Is there no way your contract could be extended?

Someone please talk me out of POAS I have a box of 3 FRERs. I'm only 7dpo! (8 max) according to ovia I can test in 6 days ( when AF due, but these FRER tests say they can detect up to 6 days before!) also according to the other app I use ( M calendar) AF is due on the 8th which is actually only 3 days away.
I have lots of Internet cheapies but they are unlikely to show anything.

Lelly0503 · 05/07/2016 09:08

Sorry AF got you ever Flowers

Wibble your still not out! Try not to stress about hypothetical situations, I believe life has a way of working out the way we least expect it and like you say 6 months is really not long at all but myself likely to go onto month 5 in the next couple of days it does feel like a lifetime. But I try to remember that a year is about right and as long as I have a baby at some point what's the difference if it being now or in 6 months time.

I did another internet cheapy this morning, I swear I could see a line but I got so pissed off with myself for doing the test bcos now if AF arrives il be more upset. To be honest iv had no pg symptoms and didn't BD as much as I should of. CD27 now, AF could be due tommorow or Saturday as that would be 14 days since ov xxx

babydances · 05/07/2016 09:27

Hi everyone! I'm still here watching the thread. Get my implant out Thursday. Went yesterday but they didn't have the anaesthetic I'm not allergic to in yesterday so I'm going back Thursday to get it out. Been a right faff! Hoping the doctor might be able to see if there was anything left in the implant when she takes it out. Me and dp still dtd just incase but will try properly from Thursday when I'm. Good to go!

MrsGsnow18 · 05/07/2016 09:43

BFN for me this morning! I am testing WAY too early but I couldn't stop myself. Blush

Wibblewobble100 · 05/07/2016 12:00

Thanks guys. Got a shake off the self pity. TTC is so stressful... We knew we were lucky to conceive first time last time, but you don't know HOW lucky til it takes a bit longer.
As you say no AF yet so not 100% out but unless I got ovulation massively wrong you'd think there would be something on FRER by now.
Fx for everyone still to test and onwards for the August bus for me!

fuzzinmybrain · 05/07/2016 12:27

Hi ladies! Wow, I came to check in and it's great to see all the BFPs - congratulations!

I'm now in the tww - 4dpo and testing after 16 July. After the last cycle's monumental disappointment, I didn’t put any pressure on myself this cycle and I’ve resigned to the fact that it will happen when it’ll happen. Or IF it'll happen. Sort of defeatist, but I've done all I can and now I have to trust my body to do its own thing, seeing as my cycle is so regular and I seem to ovulate like clockwork. I’ll also not test until my period is late.

Fx to everyone waiting to test!

Eva30 · 05/07/2016 12:52

Hey fuzz I'm in tww too, 4dpo. Not overly optimistic as only DTD once in FW 2 days before ov. AF due 17th July. bertie are you still around the same point?
mrsgsnow that was me last month testing far too early - it's just so tempting! But not going to test unless I'm late this month.

Lizziedoll · 05/07/2016 13:44

Crampy since last night so I know AF is on her way Angry ordered 30 ovulation tests from Amazon this morning. Going to test every day next cycle...

Lelly0503 · 05/07/2016 16:31

Feeling cramps too Lizzie so I'd say the lines I thought I saw were just imaginary and AF is on the way xx

Lizziedoll · 05/07/2016 16:35

Sorry to hear! I honestly feel less of a woman for not being able to conceive and I worry my partner will leave me as he is desperate for children

LittleSparkes · 05/07/2016 16:44

Please don't give up lizzie i'm of a very similar age to you and our cycles are almost exactly the same. If you are that worried go get checked out but I doubt there is anything wrong.

We are 7 months into trying and still hopeful.

At first we thought it may have been a problem with him. He is 40 and used to be (given up for a year) a heavy smoker. But we did a test and his lil dudes are just fine.
Then I checked myself out, I had a symptom-less BV so got that cleared up now we are hoping for a positive this weekend!

I'm sure it will be the same for you. Take the pressure off yourself (easy said that done I know!) Perhaps try yoga and meditation, that's how I calm myself down (i'm the most impatient person I know).

Good Luck to you, it will happen.

MrsGsnow18 · 05/07/2016 20:36

I'm sorry hear Lizzie that you've hit such a low spot. I'm sure your partner will not leave you! If you are worried like this then you should maybe talk to him, I'm sure he will reassure you that you are in this together! I have been TTC for 7 months now, I u sweat and the feeling like a failure bit. My sisters/friends all seem to have taken a lot less time than me, I was worried that my DH would blame me, but we've talked about it a few times and we're just trying to relax and enjoy TTC as much as we can. ( I still get crazy every month and try hide most of the crazy from him but every now and again I cry to him, we're only human!)
A good tip one MNer had put on one of the threads was a treat each month when AF arrives, something that you can't do when pregnant or with a young baby! Then just focus on starting each month fresh. Fx for you! Flowers

Lizziedoll · 05/07/2016 20:44

Thank you ladies Sad that's a really nice idea to treat ourselves to something nice each time AF arrives, will definitely do that from now on, at least it'll be something positive to come out of it and something to look forward to... Hope you all have a nice evening. At least if we all get BFN's then we will be together on the August bus (...)

Watchingmylilygrow · 05/07/2016 20:52

Sending love lizzie
littlesparkes how did you get the tests done? Can you recommend a private clinic? Or was it through GP?

LittleSparkes · 06/07/2016 09:23

EVA I just brought myself a test from boots. Super easy.

Sending luck

MrsGsnow18 · 06/07/2016 09:55

This is maybe something I will look into too! Might be better than wasting even more money POAS too early!
Another BFN this morning on an Internet cheapie. Also downloaded the free pregnancy test checker app Blush
Patience would be a wonderful thing!

LittleSparkes · 06/07/2016 10:23

Definately worth testing - Ihad no idea... my parter complained of a slight burning sensation after sex which has now stopped since i have treated myself Blush.

Ive just downloaded the app too, I had another BFN off an internet cheapie too- but still hopeful as I have had now AF cramps, plus my skin has really cleared up. Confused usually spotty at this time of month.

Fingers crossed.

LittleSparkes · 06/07/2016 10:24

meant to say no AF cramps. Grin

Lelly0503 · 06/07/2016 10:47

AF is due today but not arrived yet. I'm only 11dpo tho so im going to test Friday if no AF by then. Feeling a bit offish with some back ache and a heavy feeling so I won't be surprised if she arrives today xx

Eva30 · 06/07/2016 13:38
