July Bus

Hi all, I'm starting the July Bus so that we can all cheer each other along even in the very early stages!!

I'm here following the arrival of my AF yesterday so I will now be hoping to get my BFP in July.

My stats: 32, TTC#2, Cycle 2 and CD2.

I've just realised how many number 2's there are in my stats

My cycles aren't too regular following a Mirena removal and a miscarriage earlier this year but I am expecting my FW to start around the 20th of June.

Looking forward to having lots of passengers on this bus followed by lots of us getting our BFPs

CD16 here and my spotting turned to light bleeding yesterday so I think that's me out. Bizarre, I've never had mid cycle bleeding or a cycle less than 27 days in my life Typical it should happen now! Although if I take this as CD2 I'm still technically on the July bus, just about! So will hang about anyway

Another BFN at 12 dpo. Normally AF arrives at 12dpo so I expect the witch will soon get me. If she doesn't arrive today this would be my longest cycle in 2.5 years. Sad that I know that really!

Very late to the thread but I'm join cos I think I'm in with a chance this month 34 ttc#2 only 10dpo however.... cramps which I at first thought were too many beans, AF isn't due til around the 9th according to ovia.

I'm on cd15 and I definitely ov this morning, had positive OPK and I had ov pain from about 10am-midday. I'm waiting for DH to get home from work to BD as we last BD on Weds and I'm worried it's not close enough to ov!

Laura I have exactly the same so am pretty sure she is about to get me now. Hope she leaves you alone though!

eva This was exactly me a week ago, we BD Weds, positive OPK Friday but didn't BD again until Saturday morning, if you look online it says BDing 2 days before Ov is good for conception but who knows! Xx

Also I have no idea when AF Is due, I have very regular 27/28 day cycles which makes AF due tues/weds next week but I only ov'd a week ago so if it's true that AF arrives 14 days after ov that means I'm not due for another week. I did a test this morning but was BFN.

Lelly sometimes there I think there can be less than 14 days between ov and AF. According to my ovia predictions that would be me this Month anyway, maybe you're the same?( not sure if that means I should push testing to later if the witch doesn't arrive)

Well that's given me a bit of hope lelly thanks. I'm like a crazy woman (again) ready to pounce on him when he walks through the door!!

Hey all, need opinions on whether to test tomorrow or not...... 9dpo (I think)... Going to a wedding. According to writes graph it's a 50% chance of getting a bfp if I'm pregnant.... It would make it much easier to avoid the booze if I got a squinter, but on the other hand it might be harder to go easy if I get a bfn.... wWYD?

I always test if I'm going to an event where there will be drinking during 2WW.

Just bear in mind the result might not be accurate, and don't overdo it - if you need motivation not to overdo it, excessive alcohol consumption can reduce the quality of your eggs so you'd be scuppering next month!

OTOH a few drinks when the egg has barely implanted is really unlikely to do any harm anyway because it wouldn't even have a placenta yet.

thanks Mrs I guess it's just a waiting game. Every other lobby I've ovulated right in the middle of my cycle but this month was later. I tested today which was BFN, however I am actually only 5dpo so very unlikely to show yet so keeping positive. According to an implantation calculator online it says based on my ovulation i would implant on the 4th July, however AF is due Tuesday? Who knows! I will prob test next Monday which should give me an indication x

lelly if you've ovulated late them AF will be later than expected. This happened to me with DS. I got a bfp a week late and at my first scan they said I must have ovulated late as was showing a week behind x

wibble I'm going to be in the same situation with a wedding a few days before AF due, so I do plan to test a little early with a FRER just in case. I have been cutting down drinking (apart from a bottle of wine each month when the witch shows up) but I don't believe that s few drinks ( to be social, haha) would do any harm if you get a BFN and then it later turns out to be BFP. Fx for you!

Thanks guys... Knowing that I'll probably test and if I get a bfn, remember that it could still be a bfp, and that a big night could impact next month even if it's a true bfn.

Ha mrs I spend hours looking at various calculators to try and make sense of each month! It gives a % of each day that you've likely to implanted on based on ovulation, not sure how accurate it is tho.

Thanks laura I should expect AF next Saturday then as that would be 14 days from ov. I usually get AF when I'm at work which is shit as I have quite bad periods so at least if I do get AF it will be a Saturday and I can just hide in bed all day.

I didn't realise the impact of alcohol on ttc, I don't drink at all maybe 2/3 times a year but have a big night In July which is my consoloation if I haven't caught this month and now I'm thinking I will go easy so it doesn't impact me in August! Especially as the night out is two days before I start my FW!!

So ovia says AF due in 3 days however on the calender it predict AF to be the 9th. It's usually around the 8/9th. Does anyone else have an ovia with weird dates?

Hi Blink, Ovia started really confusing me and changing my windows so I just use Clue now to track everything.
Normally spot in for AF

If you've only just started with Ovia it might be assigning you a 28 day cycle.

That's possibly it Bertie. I started it about three months ago and I thought I was a 28 dayer, so that'll probably be why it says due in 3 days i guess. And cos I've inputted when it actually arrives, it's predicting for when I'm expecting it on the 9th.
