Faint line on early response test from Lloyds - ADVICE NEEDED

We have just started ttc but I am still only 8 or 9dpo but had an early response test from Lloyds and I am impatient so I did the test, totally expecting it to be negative but then got a faint line- does anyone know if these tests ever give false positives? Also your opinion on the line itself would be v welcome!

Yes but only on Lloyds line would come up at round 2-3 minutes. It could by they are too sentitive, perhaps less than the advertised 10ml so they pick up the very start of pregnancy but as you know not every pregnancy implants successfully.

Try testing at 10DPO with a Frer. I trust that brand most. I got a faint for this preganancy at 9DPO and 11 DPO for my last one. Best yo wait until AF is late though.

So you tested positive on Lloyds tests but either weren't pregnant or had a chem ? I guess I should assume the worst then. The line came up at about 2-3 mins like you said ....

That looks like my positive test at 8do.

I never got a positive test in the early days with my first wee of the morning, only with my second after not having a drink for 4 hours. I was 18do before I started getting positives with my first wee. Weird.

Sadly, despite the positive test, I took 6 other very early response tests and all a solid negative. It definitely wasn't an evaporation line, so either it was a false positive, or within a matter of a few hours, it decided not to stick...
Feeling pretty miserable, and AF due in 2 days :( :( :(

Maybe you're just testing too early?
I know it's so hard but it might be better to just wait and see if AF arrives and if not, test in maybe a week or so.
Fingers crossed Flowers

I was testing with 5 and 10miu tests :/ :/ :/ Should have shown up by now, no? 14dpo roughly. I think I'm holding on to false hope.

Well after 7 firm negatives including 2 X 5miu and 2x 10miu tests, I was feeling very very disappointed. Am 1-2 days away from AF but tried an FRER (had 2 BFN on FRER earlier this week) and it was a BFP! Took the other to make sure!! And a faint, but clear pink line :)
