New thread, just in time for all our 2016 BFPs!

hi everyone,

may I join please. TTC #2 for 10 months now and no luck. had a scan which didn't show anything. they suspect endometriosis but gynae appt not till Feb 2016 so waiting. been very poorly last month so not much DTD. I think me & DH are just losing hope tbh. AF has been very temperametal so knowING whether I'm ovulating has been hard to work out. have been using ovulation kits, keeping diaries, taking vitamins and pregnacare tablets & trying to loose weight too!

really would love to have BFP this cycle!

We are considering selling on the monitor and i wont be buying more opks. Just gunna trust my body. All my symptoms were there Sunday/Monday so going for that as ov day. Will carry on dtd anyway and wait for af xxx

I'm 36, ttc #2 for ten months. So far two chemical pregnancies and one mmc. Low-ish AMH. Using opks and on cyclogest. CD 20 today.

Hello everyone, please can I join? Currently 3 days late for AF on cycle 1 for dc2, but had lots of negative tests! So just waiting for AF to stop messing around and show up.

So I tested this morning. BFN! Knew it would be. Will hold out for Sunday now, just in case Shorty

If it's not my month I'm going to focus on eating well, making sure my blood sugars and thyroid are under control - and start temping again. Pulled I found that quite useful for knowing if Ov has actually happened.

Thank you for the welcome f1ddlesticks and for the advice re temping. not tried that method yet I'll have to look into it.

eating healthy is a good idea. I've over indulged during the holidays so back on track now. cutting out sugar from today and increasing vegetables that should put me in a positive mood!

My diet over Christmas has been a complete disaster so I'll join you lot in some healthy eating now (she says, sitting on the train to work, with a massive slice of Christmas cake in her bag...).
At least being at work is distracting me from 2ww and endless symptom spotting! I'm so impatient.

hi ladies,

I need a bit of advice pretty pls.

so I keep a period log according to which my most fertile days are from today until Wednesday 6th Jan with ovulation day being Tuesday 5th Jan. I looked it up on another website mentioned on another forum here and that says my most fertile days start from Monday 4th Jan to Saturday 9th Jan and ovulation day being Friday 8th Jan. So I'm really confused 😞

my cycle days from what I can work out is 33 and my last AF was 20th Dec (lasted full 7 days).

can anyone please tell me which dates look accurate? I have one ovulation test kit left which I don't want to waste so was going to use it on Tuesday to confirm ovulation (more ordered but won't arrive till next weekend 😔)

p.s. me & DH plan to DTD as often as we can this coming week but it'll be good to know the ovulation day to confirm if I even ovulate this month!

The second one sounds about right. Working backwards from next af due date. Unsure if one opk will be much use to u. I would dtd eod from now till next period.

pull,hie there i would go with the one u have worked out from your period log.but just to be safe carry on with dtd at least eod that way u won't feel like u missed your chance.10 months is a long time but i had dd after a year so am so hopeful that it might take a while but it will happen.fx for u

Hi mimi, AF due today according to ovia and my days but nothing yet. I might have peed on a few sticks. bfn on friday which was 12dpo and today I'm too afraid to think its a bfp. i'll upload a picture shortly

I too can see a faint line shizzles. Hope to hear about a stronger line from u in the next few days.
I did a cd digi this morn and it was pregnant 2-3 weeks. Which will make me about 4-5 by my ov dates but 5-6 going of lmp.
Feels weird being on the opposite side to a midwifery booking appointment. Won't be doing it for another few weeks though.

Not to worry - am focusing on getting healthy for the new year. Let's see what this month brings! At least I know where I stand and can get on with things now!

Thanks for asking shizzles and I am good thanks. I have treated Christmas Day as CD1 and am going to start dtd every other day from today, with the expectation of ovulation anywhere from eight to ten days away.

Sorry to hear AF has arrived f1ddles. This is always my least favourite day but I usually perk after after a few days and get ready for the start of trying again. Hope you aren't too down.
