Would you say this is blood tinged? [Warning, pics included]

Really sorry if I'm posting completely wrongly and breaking any guidelines, I really do apologise. I've looked through them and can't seem to find anything against it.

Okay, so I've got this thick and cream cervical mucus, it doesn't transfer onto my underwear and only appears when I scrape (gently) my cervix.

It looks bright white on my finger (TMI overboard), but it appears to look a lot darker on tissue and I'm wondering if it's actually blood tinged and not white at all? Confused

Thank you for taking a look!

If it's only happening when you scrape your cervix maybe that's a sign to STOP SCRAPING YOUR CERVIX????

Bleurgh.

BeautifulLiar · 10/12/2015 14:06

Yeh it does... are you ttc and hoping your period isn't about to start??

ToothlessAndPointless · 10/12/2015 14:06

For the love of baby jebus...why?

AllCriedOuts · 10/12/2015 14:08

No I'm not pregnant but think I may be.. It's too early to tell, I'm due on Wesnesday 16th.

I'm asked because it's too early for emplantation but if it's blood tinged and a mid cycle bleed, that could mean I haven't ovulated after my MC.

*implantation.

I keep on getting more of it each day and it's not thrush.

Afternoon all,

Thanks for the reports about this thread. It was a bit much for Chat, tbh! Shock

The OP's been in touch to ask if we can move it over to the Conception topic, so that's what we're going to do.

I know there's a warning but please could you add 'pics of discharge' or something. It might save some other poor soul's lunch.

MrsBalustradeLanyard · 10/12/2015 14:39

OP if you are newly pregnant I don't think assaulting your cervix is the best idea. Flowers

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 10/12/2015 14:50

Move to conceptionXmas Shock Surely removing the pictures would be a more appropriate course of action MNHQ!

Op, it doesn't look blood tinged. I wish you well on your ttc journey and I hope I haven't offended you by chucklingThanks It's just not what you expect to see on a thread ever

Runner05 · 10/12/2015 16:15

Not sure why everyone is overreacting. When you're ttc checking cm and cervical position is normal. On ttc#1 thread it's a near constant topic of conversation Confused

That being said. OP it's not the best idea to poke and scrape too much. That cm doesn't look like its blood tinged. Just keep an eye out for discolouration when you wipe.

If you're worried that you're not ovulating it might be worth temping for a month or two as that should tell you either way.

Good luck.

OddSocksHighHeels · 10/12/2015 16:53

It's probably because most of us read this in Chat before it was moved. I know it's not what I expect to see in a Chat thread.

Wow, just when I thought my morning sickness had gone! Closest I've come to being sick on over a week! Definitely needs a more detailed warning.
