We'be been Ttc for a year on and off. On Saturday I noticed a tiny drop of blood when I wiped but AF was not due till yesterday. This seemed a bit odd and I suspected IB so I decided to take a test. A squinter appeared, this is the first BFP I get in my life!

I have been testing every day since Saturday and the line doesn't seem to get any darker (nor lighter) but is so faint that just early response tests will pick it up . I have tried frer, boots and superdrug so far, all of them are coming back with the faintest line ever.

Has anybody had a simmilar experience? Should I prepare myself for the worst and wait for the arrival of AF? Should I call the doctors? Should I just chill out and wait for next week to see what happens? I think that I am about to lose the plot!!

Thanks Michele. Unfortunately I had just a tiny bit of spotting this morning and the tests are coming back negative now... I think I am having a miscarriage Sad

Oh I'm sorry. If I where you I would contact your local epc on Monday (they generally don't open on the weekends but if you start feeling really unwell I would call them or go to A&E) and let them know what's happened. Maybe to rule out an ectopic and get some advice. Its all so heartbreaking isn't it. I really feel for you. What I will say is after my first successful pregnancy I had 2 miscarriages and 2 ectopics before having my Ds who is now 5 months. You can get through this. Trust me. Talk to your partner or close friends/family don't feel you have to deal with this alone.
