If you conceived your first quickly how long did it take you to conceive second time round and how old were you?

I conceived dd v quickly aged 28 and am now thinking about dc2.

I'd love to know how long it took you to conceive first time around and how old you were, and the time the second and subsequent times, and your age then. If you don't mind!

DC1 - 3 months, age 33
DC2 & 3 - 1 month, age 36

Very quickly (first or second month) all three times, age 31 / 33 / 35.

Thanks so much for sharing everyone. I know it's not an exact science but your experiences are really useful.

1st child aged 33 2 months
Now pregnant with 2nd child aged 36 after 3 months of trying.

Took one go, all 3 times, between the ages of 33 and 35.

Dd - complete accident but I could pinpoint exactly when she was conceived - age 23
Ds - straightaway - age 26

DC1: first time I tried.
DC2: second time I tried.
Not having anymore and very glad I was careful about contraception as a teenager and 20y.o.!

Dc1 aged 32 7 months
Dc2 aged 34 3 months
Dc3 aged 37 6 months

The other thing that I would add is that there are 13 months between DS and DD. I was pregnant again (one hit wonder!) by the time he was 15 weeks

I was exclusively breast feeding so I'm not convinced that breast feeding does suppress or inhibit everyone's fertility

Oops. Forgot. With ds1 I was 34 and with DS2 am I am 37.

DD 6 weeks, age 32

DC2 8 months, age 34-35

Ds1 23 was on the pill & didn't realise I was pregnant until 15 weeks.

Ds2 24, first month

Ds3 32, first month

Dc4 currently on cycle 13

Pg1 - first month (mc) aged 31
Pg2 - 3 months after pg 1
Pg3 - 4 months after period returned from dc1, aged 33
Pg4 - 2 months, aged 35

DC1: first time of trying, I was 31.
DC2: 2.5 years. I was 35 when we were eventually successful. Wanted a 2 year gap, got 4.5 years.

Dc1: 25, 1 month
Dc2: 27, 1 month
Dc3: 29, 1 month

We were extremely fortunate. All we planned and we are always bloody careful with contraception given our fertility. Hope it happens fast for you

DD1 first month - aged 30
DC2 - 2.5 long years! Due in March. Current age 34

DC1: Not trying - age 33
DC2: Over 2 & half years - age 36 when we started trying & just conceived age 39.
