dizzy could also be an implantation dip? 14 dpo seems reasonable for implantation. Don't lose hope just yet! Are you feeling any other AF signs? My extensive googling suggests that if you normally have AF signs and for some reason don't then that could be a sign of pg all the same...? Clutching at straws but eventually they have to stick!!!

sammy I'm so sorry
hairy onwards and upwards!!
beautician you're right it can't be weight alone for everyone-some people are more affected by others (equally I wish some GPs would look at themselves before dishing out that 'advice'-my own is easily 18-20 stone and suggested I should try and bring my 25.5 BMI down to

So so sorry to hear that Sammy Flowers

Keeping fx for you Dizzy!

Hi frog, enjoy your break. Fx for a new year BFP!

eskimoflo · 08/10/2015 15:41

Ladies! I have news! My blood tests came back and they show a progesterone reading of 33! 150mg of clomid finally made my ovaries push out an egg! So excited! We only DTD twice, so I'm not expecting it to have amounted to anything, but TBH, I will be thrilled to find blood in my pants next week (hopefully) that hasn't been brought on by pills (as such!) It's been around a year since I first came off the pill and ALL of my bleeds have had to be induced by Norethisterone. Please, oh please let this one be 'natural' (obviously, not 100% due to the clomid!) Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

flymo79 · 08/10/2015 15:49

just checking in after hiding away (af got me).... sammy I'm so gutted for you.... chin up, hoping it's not too long a road before you get your bfp. eskimo that's super exciting, really hoping good things are on the horizon for you!!
I'm having one heckuva long period. Started temping again and have been 36 pretty much on the nose since af started... been a week now. What does it mean??! nothing? anything?? feel massively nauseous all the time too. Took a hpt on day one of af though and obv was a bfn... what was I thinking??!

flymo79 · 08/10/2015 15:59

oh, just read that everyone's temp goes crazy during af, so nothing unusual! sorry to be a total temp bore!!
what's going on with everyone else?

loopylou1984 · 08/10/2015 16:06

Eskimo!!!! Woo!!! Congratulations :). You finally got there, fx it's bit long to your bfp now!

Thanks Fly, and you're not a bore. It's good to get a handle on what is a 'normal' temperature pattern for you. Xx

eskimoflo · 08/10/2015 16:08

Oh MY, I just realised that I can actually do stats now!!! I am counting this as cycle 1, even though we've been trying for 11 months, as I've never ovulated before, so...

eskimoflo, 33, ttc1, cycle 1 ( (shock) ) BFP due 15th October (I have no idea actually when I ovulated, so I've put it in for CD30...)

lollyb20 · 08/10/2015 16:13

Hi so pleased for you all getting good news. Im still none the wiser 13 days late negative test this morning and my doctor is telling me to just wait! X

eskimoflo · 08/10/2015 16:16
flymo79 · 08/10/2015 16:21

thanks sammy! feel like a numpty with all the other things going on here...! eskimo that is such a great thing! wahoo stats!! lets hope you don't have to update them loads, everything crossed this means it's all go for you.
lolly that's rubbish! gah! what tests have you done?

lollyb20 · 08/10/2015 16:32

Iv used a digital superdrugs own brand and normal superdrugs own brand also few internet cheapies. X

flymo79 · 08/10/2015 16:34

oh grrrr. I don't know what to suggest! are your periods normally very regular? are you particularly stressed (other than about ttc?)

loopylou1984 · 08/10/2015 16:51

Lolly - this happened to me one time, my usual regular 29 day cycle lasted 43 days. I went to the doctor and was met with the same response as you. When af finally rocked up on cd43 some lovely informative ladies on a long time ttc thread opened my eyes to anovulatory cycles. It is totally normal to have one or two months a year where you don't ovulate and unless you're temping you have no way of knowing for sure whether you have or not. Your duplicate cm signs suggest your body tried to ov but didn't quite manage it.
Of course you could just be one of those people who pregnancy tests show late for, and I hope you are... I just wanted to pass on the knowledge I was given. Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 08/10/2015 16:53

ESKIMO how exciting! Momentous day for you. Really pleased the clomid finally worked. Wooo hoooo!

loopylou1984 · 08/10/2015 16:54

As for me, I'm feeling a lot better physically today, and a bit happier to. I'm just hoping af rocks up quickly so I can find out what a natural cycle will involve and just get on with it. I think we're going to have to be a lot more flexible time wise with the natural cycle.
Thank you to everyone who asked after me. Xx

lollyb20 · 08/10/2015 17:03

Hi yes my cycles are always bang on which is why im so confused.

Thanks so much for your advice x

nightandthelight · 08/10/2015 17:03

Congratulations Eskimo! Actually hoping AF won't turn up for you due to being preggo Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 08/10/2015 17:28

Hurrah eskimo!! That's fantastic news! And worth the clomid side effects I'm sure! So has this kick started your cycles now? Does this mean you can come off the Meds or do you still need to take them?

Good to hear you're feeling happier sammy, you will get there soon.

Well, I've started with the usual brown cm today! Bang on friggin cue! So by my usual calculations, af should arrive tomorrow evening!

DizzyNorthernBird · 08/10/2015 17:30

Suppose I had better head to tesco to stock up on tampax and painkillers Hmm

loopylou1984 · 08/10/2015 17:43

Sorry for af DizzyN. Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 08/10/2015 17:58

Thanks sammy.

On a positive note, if all goes well next month and my body doesn't fuck me around my window falls the week after my birthday, when DP and I are both away together......maybe I'll hold off taking that break for another month.....

Nomio23 · 08/10/2015 18:18

Eskimo!!!! I am almost as excited as I would be if you had a BFP! That is brilliant news!

Dizzy, I would definitely keep trying next month if I were you. Going away seems to often result in BFPs!

Lolly, I think everyone has those weird kind of cycles at times. It is super annoying, but I doubt it is anything to worry about. Hopefully you will be back to normal next month.

Sammy, has normal IVF been ruled out for you now, or is there any medication you could take to help with your bad reactions? I really hope you get your happy ending soon. X

I am back at the in-law's now & starting CoC tonight hopefully. Not looking forward to having to have quiet sex though!

ThePug · 08/10/2015 18:25

PomPoms waving for eskimo's egg - well done ovaries and well done you for sticking with it! So pleased you can finally now start your journey properly.

Boris, Dizzy, Sammy Sad sorry to read your latest updates, I've been hanging around waiting with baited breath for one of you to post some good news for the last few days.

Pixa how are you? What's your next move and when is it happening?

Flybynight1 · 08/10/2015 18:38

Dizzy sorry to hear that Sad just wait and see if it develops into full blown AF (I have my fx that it doesn't!) but if it does then def give it one more go next month! Holidays can do wonderful things!!

eskimo woooooo go you and your ovaries!! May this be the first of only a few before you get your bfp!! You deserve it Grin

Nomio enjoy your night...!!! Wink

Sitting at 14 dpo drinking water like a fish (and peeing like one too!) but that's the only thing I'm considering as unusual... sadly I didn't bring any hpt away with me thinking it would be better to do it at home with DH there. It's been a good technique so I haven't been able to test early but I won't be home until Saturday so testing Sunday if nothing else happens
