Hi all, hope you're all well.

Welcome back quietly, I remember you! Sorry to see you're still here, in the nicest way possible, but I hope the break has helped to de stress you.

12dpo here. Still no symptoms, but oddly my temp creeped up slightly to 36.68 this morning. This is odd because on all my past charts my temps go into decline from 11dpo until af. I'm not going to allow myself to get my hopes up though because it could be nothing!

Kirjava · 06/10/2015 08:31

Welcome back quietly!

nomio hope the house gets sorted soon - it's so stressful buying a place!

Gah boris I'm also sick of everyone being pregnant. I'm distracting myself with job applications. the job I've wanted for years has finally been advertised!

Kirjava · 06/10/2015 08:31

dizzyn fx for you. When is af due?

Nomio23 · 06/10/2015 10:23

Dizzy, that sounds promising. FX this is your month.

Quietly, welcome back. Hopefully now you have de-stressed, you will have a bit more luck.

Kir, good luck with the job application. What field do you work in?

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 11:57

Oh dizzyn fingers crossed, sounds good!

quietly welcome back! I remember you :)

kir sounds exciting :)

DH had his redone SA today. One step closer to doing something about this....

nightandthelight · 06/10/2015 12:20

Just popping on to say hi to quietly! Hope you get your BFP soon!

Am excited by your temp Dizzy :)

Eek only one week Sammy, so exciting!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 06/10/2015 13:26

Fx Dizzy

Quietly I remember you. You must of left the boards about the same time as me. I came back a few months ago.

Ladies I've just had a call from the doctors to make a follow up appointment for my fertility bloods is this the norm ? Or does it mean they've found something Sad

BabyBumpHopeful · 06/10/2015 14:49

Fingers crossed for you DizzyN I know it's hard not to get slightly hopeful!

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 16:29

beaut it doesnt necessarily mean something's wrong, each doctors surgery manages test results differently. but if they have found something it's good to know sooner rather than later. Also many problems are easy to resolve in one way or another. Try not to second guess what the doctor will say, it could be all ok.

lollyb20 · 06/10/2015 16:45

Hi can i join? Looking for a bit of advice

Hi everyone, we have been trying to concieve for a while now and every month af turns up :( i am normally pretty regular maybe sometimes one or two days early or late but that it. This month i should have been ovulating around 6th-12th september in this time i had loads of clear stringy discharge which is what i always get when ovulating but then on the 18th september it started to happen again so when did i ovulate?? So confused. I was due af on 28th september iam.now11 days late but if i ovulated the week later i am only 3 days late iv done a hpt came back bfn :( but i am feeling very very sick sometimes its only their for a while but it can last all day or night i feel different to every other month i have been urinating alot more, headaches and feeling quite hungry surely i cant be imagining all this??

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 17:17

Hi lolly and welcome. Make yourself at home. How confusing for you. Sometimes your body can gear up to ovulate, not manage it and try again a few days later, which is maybe what happened to you. My periods and ovulation are also put out of sync by travel, stress or illness or mediation. Could any of those have affected you? What kind of pregnancy test are you using? Digital tests by clear blue are not sensitive and may not register your pregnancy yet, first response tests might be better for you. If you still get bFNs and no AF after testing in a few days it might be worth trying to see a doctor. It sounds horribly confusing for you. You have my sympathies.

lollyb20 · 06/10/2015 17:35

Hi thanks for your reply, i have had a bit of a headache, stuffy nose and achey but thats only happened in the last few days iv tried internet cheapies and used a clear blue digital i did also do a superdrugs own brand best and thought i see a very faint line but noone else could see it x

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 17:35

Glow just helpfully notified me that we have been ttc for 16 months. No shit, thanks for rubbing my nose in it. Just stick to telling me when to seduce DH.

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 17:39

Well fingers crossed for you lolly keep testing on the non digitals (unless you have money to pee all over) . X

Quietlyhopeful81 · 06/10/2015 18:14

Thanks everyone! Smile I'd forgotten how lovely and welcoming everyone is!

That's looking good Dizzy. Fingers crossed for you!

Kirjava good luck with the job application! Im rubbish at them, walking the line between selling myself and thinking I'm blowing my own trumpet a bit too loudly. Fx for you, both in ttc and the job!

Thanks Nomio!

Hi Hair. Hope the SA results are what you're hoping for. Please forgive me, I see you said 'redone' and since I've been away I don't know what happened originally. Glow annoyed me too much in the end with its stupid reminders, so I've moved back to FF.

Hi Night! How are things with you? Smile

Beaut I had a letter in the post for my blood tests and ultrasound, saying please make an appointment as soon as possible. Scared the hell out of me but it turned out they just wanted to discuss some bits, and it wasn't anything major. I'm sure it'll be fine, and as Hair said, if there is anything, you'll know and it can be dealt with. Thinking positive thoughts for you.

Lolly Hair said the same as I would say, so I won't repeat, but here's hoping you get your bfp!

lollyb20 · 06/10/2015 18:22

I definately dont have money to be burning like that!! Thanks everyone you all seem really lovely on here xx

FuzzyOwl · 06/10/2015 18:53

Hello, please can I join? I am TTC DC2 and this is my first cycle. Due to ovulate next week.

nightandthelight · 06/10/2015 19:36

Hope it's good news beaut, like others have said I think different doctors like to do things differently so hopefully isn't anything to worry about :)

I am well thanks quietly :) Fx your return to the bus means a speedy BFP!

Hope you get a definite answer soon lolly , it must be very confusing :(

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 19:43

Welcome fuzzy how long did it take you to conceive dc1?

Nomio23 · 06/10/2015 20:36

Yay, two lovely new people! Welcome, Lolly & Fuzzy.

Lolly, it does sound as though you have some symptoms of being PG, but sadly our bodies can play nasty tricks on us. I hope it is good news for you.

Beaut, as others have said, I would try not to worry. It might just be standard at your practice to call you in for a follow up.

Boris, it is crap isn't it. I am so envious of people who get pregnant easily.

Dizzy, I would say to test, but know you are far too restrained for that!

I currently have my gorgeous 2yr old nephew falling asleep in my arms. It is heaven! Smile

nightandthelight · 06/10/2015 20:37

Aww nomio so cute :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/10/2015 21:07

quietly the SA saga was that he did the first sample (after much procrastination) at our local clinic. The results were somewhat inconclusive, low sperm count and small sample size. After much longer procrastination he went back for a second sample. But in the mean time the local clinic shut and we now need to travel across the county to do such tests - major hassle. He said he couldn't get a bigger sample this time, so it looks like our issue is male factor infertility. We go to the doctors in two weeks for the final results.

FuzzyOwl · 06/10/2015 21:22

Hello and thank you for the welcome. Smile

Hairstylisttoboris it took me nine months but I did have a late mmc so it was my third cycle after an erpc.

DizzyNorthernBird · 06/10/2015 21:33

Thanks to you all for keeping your fingers crossed for me!

I daren't get my hopes up though. I would rather be realistic and not get disappointed later this week.

AF is due on Saturday.

nomio, if af doesn't show on Saturday I shall test on Monday. How's that for restraint?! Grin

Feeling a bit crampy this evening, I'm not sure whether I'd usually get cramps this early or not.

beaut I'm sure everything s fine, like others said, different GP's have different procedures. Mine gave me my results over the phone which I hadn't expected at all!

I saw my nephew at the weekend! He's nearly 3! He's so adorable Smile and very cheeky!

eskimoflo · 06/10/2015 21:37

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the newbies and hello again to Quietly. I remember you from last time you were with us Grin

Dizzy and Lolly, I'm keeping everything crossed for you; it's so difficult not to symptom spot and get hopes up. I've had sore boobs for the past three days (currently on CD21) and desperately hoping that that means the clomid has finally worked and I've actually ovulated, but at the same time, it's been nearly a year now with nothing, so it would be miraculous to say the least Hmm

Beaut Try not to worry. If it's nothing, then you'll have been stressing for nothing and if it is something, it will be one step closer to your BFP, as you will get something to help with it. Either way, you are getting there! Smile

Boris Hope you're ok. I too have blocked a few people who have recently given birth or announced pregnancy. It's rubbish. Flowers Keeping my fingers crossed for good news on the SA. Like you say, you're one step closer now...

Nomio Glad to hear you're having a good night. Are you going to Hull Fair? Smile

I had my CD21 bloods taken today. She made a mistake and took two vials of blood, then had to dispose of one. Shock She said it was because she was also running a clinic where she had to do two tests. Should get the results in a couple of days. I tried to ask her what would happen next, if 150mg of clomid didn't work, but she wasn't a fertility nurse, she was just a 'blood taking' general nurse, so she couldn't tell me. I guess I will find out later this week... Hmm
