I take it you're still testing for BFP, emily? How weird. I think a couple of people have had weirdly long cycles with no apparent reason recently.

It is very strange as i have never had a cycle this long before in my entire life, it is always 30 - 36 days on the dot :(

Im either 4 days late or 11 days late :(

Might you have ovulated later than expected?

IIRC, I didn't get a bfp until quite late with my DS. I remember it being way more than 14 days as I had the same thing as you, ie no AF and no bfp. Maybe some people just take longer for their bodies to start producing the hormone that hpt pick up??

It is a possibility that i have ovulated late i hope i did and that i get my BFP

Emily - so strange that it didn't happen yet. It might by like my weirdly long cycle last month? I wonder if this happens from time to time but we don't notice these things when we are not TTC...?

I have always monitored my cycle as i like to know when i am due AF and i have never been this late. :(

It is mrsnucky - in less than 2 hours! I am very, very anxious as I'm a very nervous driver and am having to drive everywhere (and park!) as MrVan is working away and I can't make my childcare work with my usual train commute. All these nerves together aren't helping me.

I feel very tense and tearful and will be glad to get home with the boy after the hospital visit. In some ways I wish I'd kept the appointment to this Friday and taken the boy and then I could have walked. I dread to think what my blood pressure will be!

Emily, hopefully just a late ovulation, same thing has happened to me, very late BFP. Not out until AF swoops in.

Ok, I'm all caught up now! Huge congrats Carrot! Wonderful news. Now you can properly celebrate! ????

ODog, I had random milk leaking a couple of months ago and it freaked me out a bit as I'd stopped feeding around 9 months before. Apparently it's very common though so don't worry.

I am CD 32 of a ?? Day cycle. My longest this year since TTC has been 39 days so I'm not getting excited yet. Last month AF arrived on day 30 so it's anyone's guess what will happen this month. ???? I'm aiming to POAS on 5th September if AF isn't here (ha!) I'll be day 43 by then. Would test sooner but a combo of work, relatives staying and general life stuff means that in reality I probably won't get round to it until then!

Still training for my half marathon, it's in about 5 weeks. Getting a bit nervous. Work is quite full on with lots of rubbish hours the next few weeks. Hoping I can fit in enough training...

POAS this morning. Didn't even bother waiting for the result before it was in the bin. Spotting immediately after. Was convinced it was AF. Now 8 hours on and just tiny amounts of brown spotting. So holding onto a glimmer of hope. Mom had light spotting throughout her pregnancies that would have coincided with her period if she wasn't pregnant. Boobs still very tender, face as spotty as a teenagers... But just in case, I'm reserving my place on the September bus.

I don't think this is going to be my month. BFN this afternoon at 13dpo. AF should be arriving tomorrow if my charting has been right - if I don't get a temp drop first thing then I will test again with FMU, but I don't think it's likely. I am a bit worried I might have cocked up my temping and miscalculated my ovulation date, actually. But we will see!

I'm cautiously optimistic, Banana, but with enough sense to know that AF is likely just a day away. Le sigh. But there's always a bottle of wine downstairs to help the week pass more quickly...

The outage meant I couldn't update properly but my lovely EPU are also doing a 9week scan for me
