Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

That's good news 5hell gx

Oooh love the holiday chat - I can 2nd Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria, have been there for a week the last two Octobers, restaurants are great value and really good quality. This October we are going to Lanzarote for a change, I love a bit of winter sun and October holidays give you something to look forward to when the weather gets shit, plus when you're back it's practically Christmas Grin

lildottie · 17/08/2015 19:40

oooh I want a steam mop. let me know if its any good tink. and no, not going to fly in first tri. after this long and a mc under my belt I am taking no risks. I may not even leave my house!

ChatEnOeuf · 17/08/2015 20:01

Think that's an excellent plan, Lil. I'm looking to invoke LOS - Canaries looking easiest but skiing is always tempting. Also (LOS, you listening?) bought enough Always to last me through 'til the menopause on the way back home Grin

Mechelen is lovely, Mermaid - big tower to climb, gardens to explore, churches, pretty architecture. And for the inner child, the science museum, zoo and toy museum are great :)

Ain626 · 17/08/2015 20:05

Hmm... I ended up having a nap anyway... Fell asleep on the sofa for about an hour.

I'm also enjoying the holiday chat. Grin An October holiday sounds great, but DH has booked all his holiday days off work now. Any other ladies that work in a school wanna go off somewhere in half term? Haha.

I also want some action in the cleaning chat - we have a small handheld steam cleaner that we use for the BBQ, the hob, etc, but would like one for the kitchen floor... Keep looking at the X5, but it's quite expensive...

Lil I'm sure it'll all be okay, but yea, best taking as few risks as possible!

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 20:14

Ain I don't recommend the x5 at all. We had one and it completely broke after about 8 months. I don't think theres anything special about it to be honest

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 20:15

ain I'll go away with you Grin j'sers on tour!

Made jam and lemon curd. Yum. Going to make some labels tonight and should probably get my cape on as opks still f'ing positive

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 20:17

My steam mop is a Swan, it's fab but I got it free so don't know how much it was.

Ain626 · 17/08/2015 20:21

JS'ers on tour! Awesome Just! Hehe.

Jam and lemon curd both sound yummy too!

Hmm.. X5 not that great then?

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 20:27

We could get tshirts?

That does sound yummy.

I wouldn't recommend it. I think you can probably get equally good ones for a fraction of the price.

Mermaid36 · 17/08/2015 20:31

just what sort of jam have you made? I run a business making the stuff, so I'm always nosey about what other people make!

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 20:36

Blackberry and apple
Plum
Rhubarb and cherry

Fairly bog standard!

Ooh a jam business sounds heavenly, any good recipes you're happy to share? I love a conserve me.

Has anyone ever made grapefruit curd, saw a recipe but can't decide if it will be nice.

Ha ha, bagsy 69 on my t shirt

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 20:57

Haha well given my name I'd have to be 'doggy style' Wink

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 20:58

Grin doggy style

MyBlackCat · 17/08/2015 21:08

Come on holiday with me viroids - DH is not much of a talker so it will be good to have others to chat too Wink We had been reading some of the reviews of where we had booked for October, they have been mixed as hotel has changed management since we booked. DH has agreed we can change hotels to the posher more expensive one Grin only paid a £1 deposit so not losing anything except the extra £150 it will cost

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 21:12

Deal! I could do with some sun and good company

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 21:12

Deal

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 21:13

Good work on getting him to change btw. My DH would see straight through to the extra £150 tight arse

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 21:13

Hurrah for posh hotel!

Anyone been to goa or Malaysia?

Mermaid36 · 17/08/2015 21:19

just I do a nice line in Summer Berry & Juniper, Rhubarb & Vanilla and I have a special jam that has chocolate in it!

Try getting hold of a book called Preserves by Catherine Atkinson & Maggie Mayhew - it's got 140 recipes that are all fab!

Ain626 · 17/08/2015 21:29

Just I've been to Goa... But quite a while ago now...

Pondering what I could have on my t-shirt... Are we having a colour scheme?

Tinkfromlovejoy · 17/08/2015 21:33

It's ok lil, pretty basic but the floors are clean! It gets quite wet, so there are some water marks but for £22 it's alright by me.

JustMeAndTheDog · 17/08/2015 21:43

Ain I think there needs to be a colour scheme. I mean what would we look like if we all turn up in different tshirts? How would the people know we're the JSers on tour??

justtheonethen · 17/08/2015 21:48

Love a colour scheme, maybe the colour of your fanjo?

I'm envisaging a posh beach hut on a quiet beach. Is goa like that or not?

Baby bombed just now. Feeling Envy

FeatheredTail · 17/08/2015 21:48

I had a wonderful, wonderful x5.... Then it BROKE. It was lovely while it worked for all of 6 months. Need a new one so will be checking aldi!

In terms of a shaggers on tour colour... Either pink or purple - I.e the colour of a BFP!

FeatheredTail · 17/08/2015 21:49

I have had an entire day of no fb - deleted it from my phone to stop myself going on it too much/getting bombed.
