dizzy xpost. FF will confirm with dotted lines based on your +opk as soon as you start temping again. You can also change the OV confirmation on FF to "OPK" in the settings, which will then ignore your temps for the purposes of OV.
Otherwise, I would go for average of 28-36hrs after the positive OPK. 36 hours would be a good level bet for when ovulating after the opk. Count 36 hours after +opk and then make that the day of ovulation. The day after that is 1dpo. :)
You can enter an OV manually if you want (my chart shows a blue line, which is manual line. The doctors told me I'd ovulate on the 10th based on the hcg shot, so I input it myself overriding the FF app which indicated the day before as ov day.)

Auf I usually ov on day of positive opk but this month has been a good one with the line getting darker but I'm not sure whether yesterdays or today's test is the more positive one. How many days of positive OPK's do others get on the IC's?

Dizzy Oh I have been bloated too! I was moaning about my tummy the other day and DP says I can still keep putting it down to being pregnant for 8 weeks nearly 2 months ago I am going to stick by that story! I would assume you ov’d today so count 1DPO from tomorrow.

Auf the temp has dropped but looking at the trend it is still up – as FF says – don’t read too much into just one temp! Staying positive for you Yes we’ve had sex every other day but yesterday I was sending boob pics from the work loos and ‘tarted myself up’ for when he got home because I wanted it DP also commented on my come to bed eyes which go a bit greener and my pupils dilate. My body gives me away OOhhh and if you find something you will enjoy that pays well let me know! Feeling uninspired at the moment.

Dizzy, I don't temp & FF still confirms OV for me. They normally seem to assume it is the day after your last positive, which in my case is accurate, but some people don't ovulate until a couple of days after.

DizzyM I think people only get one day of a + on IC opks. Some people test twice and day because they can sometimes miss it!

I usually do get one day of a positive opk but seem to have two this month. I'll just enter the details manually for now in FF.

I've just checked both OPK's and yesterday's is definitely darker so I'll go with that. Thanks ladies.

Last month I had 1 day of opk+ but this month I had 2

That's reassuring raluca I was starting to worry why I got two days of positives but I guess as the line isn't as strong as yesterday the surge is on it's way out, so to speak!

When I first got off the pill, for the first 6 months I had a positive ppk for about half an hour so I had to test many times a day to catch it. Now my cycles are established, my periods are back to being heavy and I get 2 days of strong positive opks

Anyway once you get a positive it means that you ovulate within 12-48h. So you don't really know without a temp shift

boris I tested 3 times and still didn't get a true positive. Good to hear that it can be an incredibly short window. Hopefully it doesn't mean less chance of conceiving. My
Ovulation pain this month was really bad so I like to think the egg flew out with great force.

I feel like a billion eggs came out of me this month.
It took me months to be able to get a true positive, I always used to miss mine even when I hardly drank anything and peed on sticks every 2-3 hours.

I didn't but I heard the average twins live 2 years longer than the average single birth

I seem to get about 2 days of true really dark +OPKs - and they are much lighter today plus I had a temp rise this morning so fingers crossed for ov!!! It would be CD19/20 and my usual cycle length is 25-28 days so now I'm worrying about if I did ov and by some miracle sperm go to my egg, will my luteal phase be long enough? There's always something to worry about!

The LP should always be the same, if you ovd late then af will be late.

Sorry for the me, me, me post, but there are children & 2 heavily pregnant women here. I might have a breakdown! Either that or get drunk!

OMG (yes I did just type that) just stretched my ewcm to 5 inches!!!!! threw dp into bed and got my moon up in. So much easier than laying still for half an hour! With these summer nights DS goes out playing which is handy for me to jump DP as soon as he gets out the shower!
