To those of you the "just knew" you were pregnant...

... How did you just know? Was it a lcuky guess, or did you feel different inside?? :)

I don't know how I knew, I just did.

I was POAS twice a day with I.C from as early as 7dpo but I was never disheartened by any of the BFNs because something inside me just knew that one of the tests would be BFP at some point. I actually didn't get my BFP until the day after my period was due, approximately 15dpo. I wasn't temping so didn't know exactly how many dpo I was, it was just a rough guess.

I had the runs and a absence of period symptoms but also just knew

I've been reading these with interest because my mum 'just knew' with me (OC) so I'm hoping it's the same for me too.

Apparently a lot of pregnancy symptoms are the same as period symptoms (sore boobs, stomach ache, bad mood, tiredness), which can make it even more confusing...

I had to LOL that people stopped liking coffee and olives - they're the only things I don't like! Please tell me no one went off curry!!!

Funnily enough I hated coffee... But I've missed a period (known not to show on a test until 8 weeks, so patiently waiting for second missed period).. I suddenly loveeeee coffee!! Weird.

Boobs of lead. If I wasn't pregnant I was off to the dr.

for me my boobs felt tingly...almost fizzy, but a hot fizz if that makes sense...totally different from my pre AF boob pain, and constipation.....i only usually get constipated when I take codeine, but I knew I hadnt had any of that, so coupled with the boob pain, i knew...so I took a test the day before AF was due and got my BFP...sadly not to be as it turned into a missed mc/blighted ovum in may, but im hopeful for my fizzy boobs and bunged up bum very soon :)

Morning sickness kicked in straight away.

Had a headache, joints ached and was very irritable from about 5DPO. I just knew.

No idea with DS but with DC2 (25 weeks at the moment) I knew more or less straight away. I could not bear to have anything tight, clothing wise, on my tummy. Jeans had to be undone, loose skirts. Couldn't stand it!

Not knocked up.... Yet! But, we like telling people who ask, its a "work in progress" and then sit back and watch them work it out

I guess I might "know" in a few days at implantation? If not the Red River is due to burst its banks 8 days

I felt implantation pains, and then a couple of days after that, all the veins in my chest popped up and were bright blue. It was a twin pregnancy, so I think that particular symptom was probably exaggerated, but they stayed like that until I gave birth. As soon as I saw the veins pop up, I did a pregnancy test and it was negative. The following day I got a positive.

I was reading in bed at 7dpo and just stopped reading, put the book down and thought "I'm pregnant" I had bleeding gums when brushing and felt like i could sleep standing up. I felt different inside too. I got a bfp 2 days later and my twins were born 7 months later!

Had period type pains for a few days the had a big dizzy spell at work.

no-one will believe me but dp and i dtd one night and whilst sleeping i either dreamt or felt it. i just knew. i tested 5 days before af was due and sure enough i was. knew it was a biy too altho i suppose thats wider odds haha!

first time i was pg which ended in mmc i had no idea until i got severe backache whichalltheprofessionalstoldmewasnormal and that made me test.

I got a really really odd taste in my mouth. Around implantation. I knew 100%.

Salmia glad it's not just me! My wee smelt different. I guess combined with sharpened sense of smell? I knew with a short pregnancy (early mc) and successful pregnancies. Not keen on the smell of my pregnancy wee but I recognise it(!)

I get a peculiar dragging sensation in my lower abdomen. It's quite distinctive so I knew I was pregnant with DC3 even when I get a negative test. However I have once had it when I wasn't pregnant (and didn't want to be) which gave me quite a shock!

With dd1 - I also just knew. Had stopped contraception for a month and thought it would take ages. We were away on holiday and woke one morning and my boobs felt heavy but tingly. Also colours seemed brighter / more intense. Dp scoffed when I said I was pg and still didnt believe me until pg test 3 weeks later.

dd2 - same thing with boobs and colours. Then at around 6wks pg - morning (& afternoon/ evening and through the night) sickness started.

Can't put my finger on how exactly, but I just knew very early on with all three pregnancies, well before it was early enough to test. I just felt different.

With dd I felt I was only doing a test to confirm what I already knew. I tested a day before my period was due. I just really really knew.

When I got pregnant again, I had no idea. We'd been trying so long and the testing was relentless. I did a test. Saw it was neg and threw it in bin. That night I dreamt it was pos and I fished it out of the bin and sure enough... but I knew it wasn't right. I don't know how. I kept trying to convince myself. I kept needing others to reassure me it was true. I started bleeding less than a week later.

This time I knew before the cycle even started. I just had this huge. . Deep conviction that THAT month would be the month. I don't know why. By this point I was a poas addict and tested from 9dpo. Even though it was neg I knew it was. I didn't feel remotely despondent. 10dpo I got THE faintest of faintest faint almost evap style lines. And I just knew it was there. (Admittedly I wondered at one point if this was it. I'd totally fucking lost it) but it got stronger each day and when I saw that clear blue..

I've been scared it'll end in tears again but I'm over half way now and it's going so well.
