We don't care if you obsessively chart, temp & OPK, or just do the deed a couple of times a month. As long as you want a baby & can talk copious amounts of rubbish, this is the place for you. Grin

Thanks all Smile

Yesterday's temp must have been a fluke high one as today's is back to the same as the day before. Still up though so that's good!

Eskimo - your neighbour sounds lovely, hope you can act surprised enough when you open it!
Don't rely too much on your cervix position, mine seems to moves about wherever it likes!

Mummy - sorry you're feeling sad. Don't despair - I'm sure it's not going to be long for you lovely. Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 06:59

eskimo haha bless, what a sweet neighbour!! And very good of you to over them over. At least you'll never run out of the nice colours!

sammy thanks Hun. It will happen for you too as soon as I f round is underway.

Temp has dropped a little 8dpo but woke up with extreme thirst which was a symptom last time. Or maybe I didn't drink enough last night - who knows!

Hairstylisttoboris · 25/06/2015 07:41

Happy birthday to you

Happy birthday Eskimo! Cake

megarobotdiscoparty · 25/06/2015 08:37

Waaahhh, finished work really late and pretty much fell asleep face down in my pie and mash last night! Missed you all! I’m back on the bus to cheer you up – and I’ve brought glitter and plastic flamingos to go in our cocktails. Or maybe just our coffees seeing as it’s a tad early, even for me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ESKIMO!! Hope you have a lovely day! Laughing at your nails – you are one of those people who buys things near your birthday, just like my DH, stop doing that won’t you!

pug and boris noooooooo on the baby bombs!! Colleagues and family are the worst.boris I really hope they chill their boots after scan day excitement wears off – I too suspect this will happen. My other solution is just to get loads of their favourite pregnancy-banned foodstuff and loudly eat it in the office til they shut up. Pug that is the worst luck with holiday due – DO NOT let it put a dampner on your spirits. DH will be there for support. Does SIL know about your MC? Might even be worth telling them if they’re carping on a bit too much and they don’t already know? And if they do, I would hope they’d be tactful now the news has been broken. My SIL has just got a spanking new massive house, so I’m expecting news of her second pregnancy imminently – she dropped lucky really easily with my nephew so I imagine it will be the same again. Boo to the whole thing! And boo again for you and your SIL Sammy - really hope you’ve got good news to share of your own soon.

nomio your degree sounds fascinating! I hope to eventually go on to do some professional qualifications and like the idea of the psychology/comms combo (I work in comms now). What are you hoping to do with it when you finish? Any plans yet? Please do bring some tat for the bus! We’ll need something to get started with. Although I’m hoping spinning (I think it’s spinning that’s going?) is going to bring me back a festival hat from Glastonbury.

Sorry about your AF babybump - hope you’re managing to get excited about the new cycle now.

dizzymerry I find it so weird that we get signs without ov. How are the charts/opks today my love? How are you feeling?

madame I know you will get there. Small steps, don’t try and crack it all at once. Agreed with the others, this is superb motivation.

mummy I’m sorry you’re feeling blue, and boy that is some six months my love Sad. I don’t know about you, but I feel like there’s increased pressure after the MC, not just to fill that emptiness, but also because you know how far along you should have been, so you’re constantly playing catch-up. But that way head-wreck lies! Your tiny, perfect DC is hiding in one of these cycles somewhere… Deal or no Deal style… we’ve just got to wait til we get the right one! Thinking about it like that helps me somehow. I’m such a loser, I’m sort of looking forward to the mummy’s race when DS is old enough, I’m too competitive! Everyone at my DS’s school will hate me! Congrats on your increment, hope your appraisal went well? Sorry if you updated on it and I’ve missed it! Fx for this cycle but I’m with you all the way if we’re in the next one together.

Sammy I hope you’re feeling posi for the drugs today and AF cramping has sodded off?? I won’t allow it to come early – somehow I will stem the tide! Can we all join forces and build a Bumsnet dam??
nympho constipation = BOOM! I love a good symptom spot. Any more today?

Hellooooo knickers! I have emerged! How was your temp this morning? Can you get back on it tonight?

Hello everyone else!

Cd27 here! Feeling very round and jiggly which is a good AF sign for me, I puff up like a balloon! Come on AF!

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 09:46

Ahh forgot to say Happy Birthday Eskimo !!!!!!

Mega thanks for the glitter & coffee – it is needed! I am definitely feeling the pressure to get pg after p, especially as we have a big holiday next year that I am desperate to have my baby before so I don’t have to stop ttc for the sake of the flights being safe or driving and risk early labour driving across Europe fat and miserable! Love the idea of deal or no deal babies!! Some Mum’s turn up in their trainers (some live in them however) all ready to run, I just kick my heels off and hope to not come last. DS is very competitive though and would burst if he saw me get a medal (yes the top 3 get medals like the kids Grin ) Appraisal went ok, she is pleased with me and want me to get more out of my role and develop my skills so I don’t get stuck in this admin role and develop as much as I can (she started in a job similar to mine) but had recognised that I haven’t been giving my all but appreciated there were very good reasons!

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 09:47

Blush Mums...not Mum's

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 09:54

SYMPTOM!!! Just been to the loo and had a feel of cervix and found a huge lunch of stretchy green snot like CM, 1 day earlier than I did on BFP month! And that was the first month I had it.

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 10:05

Lump not lunch, now filling up the thread on my own Hmm sorry girls!

Nomio230 · 25/06/2015 10:50

Ha ha, that made me laugh, mummy. Green snot CM for lunch, anyone?!

Robot, I still don't really know what job I want to do, which is worrying, as I finish uni next week! I find the psychology of advertising really interesting, but don't think I am young or trendy enough to work in the advertising field. Sad I will probably just apply for a load of random jobs & hope someone gives me a chance!

Sammy, good news on the temp staying high.

Happy birthday, lovely Eskimo! Cake Enjoy your nail varnishes!

Nympho, FX that constipation is a sign!

Pug, any sign of OV yet? I am hoping mine will be today.

In terms of bus tat, I give you a shot glass from Cyprus & a quite possibly fake bottle of Argan oil from Morocco. Grin

Nomio fx you do ov today then you can start spotting your cm lunches too Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 11:28

Sorry no CM lunch for you Boris I am sure it would have been yummy Grin

ThePug · 25/06/2015 11:44

Happy birthday eskimo Cake

mega you absolutely hit the nail on the head with what you said about feeling like you're playing catch up after mc. That's what has knocked me for six after hearing SIL's news yesterday; she'll be the one on holiday that everyone is making sure is ok etc because she is pregnant whereas it should have been me - at 4 months, and nearly half way to a baby yet now I'm nowhere near a baby and she'll get one first. She is absolutely lovely but I can't help the massive resentment now (for being pregnant AND ruining my excitement about the holiday). MIL knew about it so I'm pretty sure she would have told DH's two sisters but neither of them have mentioned it to me.

And no, no sign of ovulation yet nomio . Just checked cervix and whilst it is high my cm seems to have reverted to stick which isn't ideal. Will see what this afternoon's opk says but feeling very dejected that my cycles are now screwed and/or I won't ovulate at all. CD18 already, feels like I've been waiting so long to give it another proper go.

mummy Fx the snot is a good sign

Boris No cm is probably better than blood, right? Did you speak to anyone medical about that?

sammy have the cramps stopped?

Hairstylisttoboris · 25/06/2015 12:00

thepug I really feel your pain. Your post is heartbreaking. Big hug.

I didn't go see a doctor in the end. The heavy bleeding stopped quickly but I still have brown cm (when I have it). I'll see if AF arrives as normal but I'm writing off this month.

Mummyofonesofar · 25/06/2015 12:19

Pug I completely understand how you are feeling, I hope they know you miscarried and can act accordingly and sensitively on holiday, if they don't know I would suggest telling them xx

DizzyMerry · 25/06/2015 12:30

Mummy Grin on a more serious note you've had one hell of a roller coaster ride and your strength throughout has brought you this far. Keep going lovely it's surely almost time for some good news for you.

Sorry for the baby bombs. Like others have said it will be you one day sharing your good news.

Pug baby bombs are more of a blow when it's a family member and someone you will be spending time with on holiday (though as rightly said there's no escaping colleagues either) If she did know about you then that makes it worse and she should have been more tactful in delivering the news. I can't pretend to know how you feel but I however much it hurts and is difficult to deal with put a brave face on and don't let it spoil your much looked forward to and well deserved holiday. It will be your turn soon, it really will.

Sammy how are you feeling today? Have the cramps gone?

Nomio and Pug fx for ov.

Happy birthday Eskimo.

Cd16 and temp dropped again so I didn't ov yesterday Sad will continue opks but I'm not holding my breat!

DizzyMerry · 25/06/2015 12:32

*breath

megarobotdiscoparty · 25/06/2015 13:30

Oh pug! Feel a bit misty - eyed after reading your post. It doesn't matter how lovely SIL is, it still isn't fair (in fact people being lovely just makes me feel guilty for resenting them - damn and fie!). Have you talked to DH about how you feel? Let him be your human shield, if he will. I wonder if them calling rather than telling you on hols was a tactful move so you had time to absorb and not feel under pressure to be happy straight away? I really hope that they do know and have your best interests at heart- if not then you should definitely say something. You will have a brilliant holiday, it will be hot and beautiful and restful and everything you wanted it to be, just as it was going to be before you found out. Don't let it change anything.

Thanks nomio! . A career in Mad Men style New York advertising would be the dream then! Imagine! Hope something interesting pops up for you. My DH works at a trendy place and is by far the oldest one there - but insists the only thing cool about anyone there is their haircut! Blaggers the lot of them...

mummy I had a gloop this morning too! Totally freaked me out. More yellow than green here. What does it MEAN? Mmm did someone say lunch?

Loving your knocker check boris - hope your colleagues are behaving today!

Good luck dizzy - ov chanting for you here.

Is it the weekend yet? Bored out of my eyes of babysitting the work experience girl (everyone else is ignoring her, poor thing) she's only 15 and she's not allowed to do anything! And I forgot she was there and said the word "hand job" really loudly in the office yesterday. I'm on eggshells...am bound to pop out with more inappropriateness before the week is out!

megarobotdiscoparty · 25/06/2015 13:32

Hmmmm. Now I'm not sure if hand job/hand-job is two words or one...makes mental note not to ask work experience girl to find out through sheer desperation of having nothing else for her to do

ThePug · 25/06/2015 14:19

Big love everyone. Thank you for bearing with me while I whine. Yes mega it is definitely worse when the babybombers are lovely and 5 years younger than you Think I'll try and have a heart to heart with SIL when we're on our own, it might be good to talk to someone about ttc. And I mustn't forget that she is probably very nervous herself, as DN arrived over 2 months prematurely and was in NICU for weeks.

ThePug · 25/06/2015 14:21

Pahaha at knocker check, which I assume was meant to be knicker check but both are probably relevant.

Also, why were you talking about hand jobs at work anyway mega ? Shock

Hairstylisttoboris · 25/06/2015 15:06

Ha ha yes I meant knicker rather than knocker check. I only MN on my phone and try to do it discreetly at work...

I want to work with mega. Sounds way more exciting than my office.
